Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?

List your competitive highlights:
I'm not really sure! I've had a few good races with people. Winning the triple crown series in two classes was pretty gnarly. and I even got a sick crash on tape from one of those races! (on profile) and my scars on my arm i got from that looks like i got mawled by a bear... hahaha!
What are you planning for next season?
Staying injury free again and getting a YZ125! Going to Ponca city and Branson as the big nationals. Other than that just a few local races and series.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
I'd like to say it was last year when I raced a track called Nocona and I raced that whole day. Like, I raced the Ponca qualifyer in the morning then raced a night race they held there. They didn't have a class I could fit into so I ended up just racing the 99cc+ womens class on my 85. I had the ONLY 85! everyone else had 150's, one girl on a 110, 250's, and 125's. I thought I wasn't going to do well 'cause they all had bigger bikes but I ended up competing with this girl on a 250 and got 3rd out of 9 or 10!! I was so happy. It wasn't even that big a race, but the fact that was my first night race and I was racing at like midnight and getting 3rd agaisnt bigger bikes made it amazing.

Music?
I love pretty much every type of music! I'm always open to learning about new bands and artists and things like that. I probably know quite a few bands most people never even heard of before. I love it almost as much as motocross! When i'm sitting at the line getting ready to race I usually listen to some pretty heavy hardcore stuff to get pumped. It's usually the band 'Through the Eyes of The Dead' haha hence the name. :P
What inspires you to compete?
My dad mainly. He got me into it and now that's all I want to do! Just the feeling of flying through the air is amazing... and winning first is like one of the best feelings ever. And it's not even the fact it's first (a little is) but when your family and friends are hugging you and telling you how awesome the race is, THAT, is the best feeling ever. The good feeling I get from that is what inspires me. And I love it.

hey.. thanks for the add..
im just tryin to find some people round here in texas so that i might know some people at some races...
it tends to get kinda boring sittin round all day waitin on your moto wit nothing to do.. if ya know what i mean. |
