Hi guys

Well i'm so happy because my foot healed! It's almost as good as new! A tat sensitive still, but I can surf and wakeboard again! The last week it was pretty good weather in holland even with temperatures reaching 29 celcius! It was unbelievable! But no wind! The upside of the windless times was that I could focus on wakeboarding a bit!

So the last week I started with the scarecrow over the kicker! I just started wakeboarding 3 months ago so for me it was pretty scary to try it! But 4 days later I did my first one! I was so happy! The was a lot of crashing going on before this, but I was so happy to get it right! I'm considering competing in the dutch championships, wakeboarding in september.

Just for fun ofcourse, because I love windsurfing the most! And my plan is to fully go for windsurfing! but for the windless times the wakeboarding is really nice to keep me in good shape! ;) unfortunatly i did not get any pictures yet, but I hope my boyfriend is able to shoot some nice pics of my scarecrow next week!

The windsurfing wasn't really much lately, most of the blame is on the weather, sunshine, no wind conditions.. not really what I was hoping for! Now it seems the tide is turning, but my new gear isn't in yet! well the new nolimitz masts are in but in two weeks it will (the Sailworks sails) be there! Se let's pray for some wind by the time my gear arrives!

Today i also ordered someH2o gear! one for me and two to take with me on events! So that everyone can try it! I hope people will get as stoked about it as I am!

So keep on the watch for some pictures!!

See you on the water!

Whats up!

I am almost ready to rip it up again. The stitches are out and  can walk a little bit again! I've tried wakeboarding the day before yesterday and that went pretty good.

This week I'll be training for RS:X in medemblik (regatta centre in Holland) and I am pretty nervous, because I'll be training with some very experienced people! But I guess I will learn a lot from them. If all goes right, we will fly to Miami in January to compete!

My new wave gear is a bit delayed and will arrive end july. I can't wait to test the new sails and masts from Sailworks and Nolimitz!! September the dutch wave championships will take place so hopefully I can shred there with my new toys! :D

I am even thinking about taking part in dutch cable wakboarding competitions in september, just for fun ;)! I like the wakeboarding for the days that the wind isn't there! So maybe I'll try to compete there just for fun ofcourse :D

well, I'll let you know how the training RS:X went!

See you guys on the water!

I am very happy to announce I got a deal with H2o Audio! I can't wait to go and rip with some music in my ears!
i guess my waterproof ipod case and waterproof earpluggs wil get in somewhere next week! I think this will definetly push me on the water to learn new stuff!

As soon as I got them you guys be the first to know!!

The last few weeks a few things happend I had some relaxing
days with some nice wheater in holland, but also a big setback!

I was pretty busy with all sorts of things lately. I got in contact with Surfgear.nl
and agreed to test some sails of Sailworks and some Nolimitz masts.
But unfortunatly the wind wasn't really cooperating so I took quite a while
before I got to sail with these Sails.

But finally I got a few days with a bit of wind so i could sail on the lake nearby my house.
So that's what I did together with some friends, we went sailing.
It was a very nice sunny day so it felt good te be on the water, but unfortunatly
the wind wasn't quite enough! But there were some nice gusts in
wich I could plane and feel how easy the Sailworks Revolution sails.
The rest of the day I spend doing some low wind freestyle ;)

A few days later some friends called me from Sneek (place near my hometown)
and asked me to come freeride with them... But I didn't have a car.
So they arranged a nice freeride set for me to borrow

and so I had a nice relaxing sailing day! It was fun,
the wind wasn't that good but It didn't matter! we had a great day anyway!

But the weekend after I was not that lucky,
after having a nice wakeboarding session I walked out of the water and stepped
into a beer glas! I hurt so bad! they took me to the hospital
because the wound was pretty deep, they had to stitch it four times! I was terrible,
I am not such a here when it comes down to needles so I was very nervous
and i hoped It would not hurt,
ofcourse.. I was wrong it DID HURT! check it out:

but now i'm recovering, I still can't walk on it but it gets better every day!
but no surfing for the next week I guess..

See you on the water!

can pick it up tomorrow!!
