So far 07 has been a great year. I met my goal of podiums in every national. Winning 4-6 stock in Ponca was great and made me feel very confident going into Loretta's. Winning a moto at Loretta's was also a neat experience. Going 6-1-2 at the ranch was not good enough for the win but I am happy with a 2nd overall, I have a lot of years left so we will keep working hard and try to win next time. I also met a lot of friends this year that I keep in touch with. I am going to try to make it to the Mini-O's this year for one last run at a 4-6 title. I am looking forward to going to FL. Making it to Mini-O's would be a personal milestone of racing coast to coast and border to border for me this year, what a life.

Erv Brauns Amateur Open went very well for me this year. I met several new friends, Weston Geim, Mitchel Renville and Gavin Hultman. I also Got to see the Cantrell's again. My Buddy from back home Johnny Garcia "522" made it also. This was my first race as a Cobra team rider. I really like my new Cobra Cm's, they are as fast as my last years 50 mod bike. And more stable. This was also My first race as a Topar Racing/The Movement team rider. It was good to have Rodney From FLY, Paul from Bell, and our Team Manager Brad Drye there. Long time sponsor Jason from A-Z synthetics AMSOIL was also there. The track got rough and the racing was very good. I think there was around 5-6 lead changes in the 4-6 stock second moto. I went down and ended up third over all with a 1-4. the mod was interesting also. everyone wanted to win. I went 4-1 for the overall in 4-6 mod. I got a huge trophy and a really cool amature open champion 2006 bike stand. Thanks Erv. I can't wait to go back next year. Right now I am trying to get ready for the Spring Nationals in TX. PR2 is working on my suspension and Jarret from Factory Backing is hooking up my graphics. It is hard with 3" of snow on the ground, But that is New Mexico in Jan.

Ponca was a good time for me this year. I finally got the hole shot at a national and led most of the first lap. I got a little exited and went down one corner before the finish line straight away and got passed. This helped my confidence in knowing that I have the speed to run in the front of the pack on a national level. I will continue to work hard and hopefully run at the front of the 4-6 class at every national in 2007

What an experience. Even though my results were not what I expected due to some bad luck, this week was one of the funnest I have ever had. I can`t wait for next year to come and go back to Lorettas in the 4-6 class again. thanks to Fun Center, A-Z synthetics AMS-OIL, Bell helmets and everyone else that made this trip possible for me. I know how to better prepare myself for my trip to the ranch in 2007.
