Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
Playing around with a skateboard one day at a friends house when i was like 6 years old and then eventually it just stuck.
I started "playing" with the skateboard everyday and learning tricks and impressing kids...never got cocky though, which is what i love about it, and probably why i still do it...in a way.
List your competitive highlights:
Lots of contests / competitions. Don't really think i need to list them here.
What are you planning for next season?
Keep grinding. And just keep going at it, ya know?
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Getting Sponsors. Photoshoots. Competitions (just being in them in always fun).

What inspires you to compete?
My love of skateboarding. And being able to see how i rank against others.
Why do you like this sport?
You get to just go out and have fun, and if you cant land a certain trick or tricks, people dont laught at you, they only try to help you land the trick.
Music?
Ima rapper. I LOVE rap, hip hop, r&b , and crunk music.

My name is Blaine Ripke. Im 17 years old. I was born in Waukegan, Illinois but i have lived in Illinois, California, and now Wisconsin. I have been skating since i was 10 years old. I haven't been able to stop since.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I have a pretty open schedule. I have a job and i am homeschooled, so i pretty much spend ALL of my time on music and skatboarding.
