The Beginning
How did you get started?
First thanks to my sponsors:
Fluid,
Pretty Tough,
SMX optics,
Osiris Shoes,
Tunguska Blast
and my teams:
(ABA)bikeshop- in the zone
(nbl) Factory Trackstars
My sister use 2 race and I wanted to so in July of 2005 when I was 7 almost 8, she bought me a bike and took me down to my local track and I raced for my first time. I loved it and decieded to race.
List your competitive highlights:
2008:
Regional #1-20'
National #2-20'
National #7-24'
Big A-#6 20'
2007:
National #3-20'
Regional #2-20'
NY# 1-20'
New York High Points-#2
NAG 7- 24'
What are you planning for next season?
-For the 2008 season, I came out as national # 2 on my 20' and national # 7 on my 24'. I went in capped out with 3 other girls in 10girls, but my moto was stacked with the top 3. Unfortuently, I made some mistakes in my motos which ruined my chance of getting the national #1 plate but I still got the # 2. For cruiser, my class is 12 & under girls cruiser so I raced a lot of older girls. For the regional championship, I went in capped out and came out #1 on my 20'.
-For the 2007 national season, a I finished with national #3 (went in as #8) on my 20'. For the NBL, I am in the 12 & under girls cruiser class so I was with a lot of older girls but still made the main and took 8th. I didnt go for a plate and didnt have 6 nationals so I didnt get a plate. For ABA, I got NAG 7 on my cruiser and I didnt even go to ABA grands!
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
For the 2007 season, I earned over 40 1st places at locals, regionals and nationals combined. Nationally, i finished # 3, in my first year of racing grands. For states, I won the # 1 title again. Unfortuently, I didnt get enough points to take home the regional #1 plate but I won my class and took home the #2 plate. Next year, I'll make sure to get enough points and take home the #1. :) For ABA, I ended up earning a NAG 7 plate in the 10 & under girls cruiser class and I didnt even go to ABA grands. I also took district #3 on my cruiser and district #5 on my 20', although I only got to race a few local single point races.
2006 season: getting NY#1 in my first season of racing states and getting Regional #2 in my first season of racing regionally. For ABA, I placed 8th in the district even tho I didnt race too much of ABA. And, after only racing 3 nationals, I got 1st place @ my 4th national against girls who have been racing for years and a nationally ranked girl.
