Some Personal Information About Me:
my name is Brad Lovell. I have been racing BMX since 2004, I am a Photo student at the academy of art in San Francisco. I love taking pictures of anything with action and I run a small photo business at most west coast NBL races. What inspires you to compete?
the Thrill of going fast, jumping, and doing what i love to do... ride my bike
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I go to the gym 3 days a week and ride 3 days a week. in the gym i focus on my disadvantages on the track along with strength training and plyometrics. and and one more thing... spin bike!
Describe your style...
I guess i'm a power rider. my first few cranks are my strongest and i got the low jump on lock.
Why do you like this sport?
I have always liked some form of racing. I have always been on bikes since before I can remember. i remember riding my bike around the block with my best friend as a kid and setting up different courses that inolved turns and jumping off curbs. my goal was to get through them as fast as I could but my friends goal was always to get bigger air and going slower. which I always thought was boring. I guess I was just born for speed.
How did you get started?
A friend brought me to a race and I was hooked from then on
List your competitive highlights:
i perfected the 2005 NBL Grands as a novice. I have 3 CA #1 titles 2 of them in the expert class.
What are you planning for next season?
train harder and become competitive in my class and go to the ABA grands.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Perfecting the NBL Grands as a 16 novice.
