In 1998, my first full year of racing, I placed 4th in the Jr. Champ Rookie division and was also Jr. Champ Rookie Driver of the year at the local track in Ashland, Virginia. In 1999 I was track champion in the Jr. Champ Rookie Class, and was Jr. Champ Driver of the year for the second year in a row. I placed 4th in Virginia Dirt karting Association (VDKA) series in 2001 and 2002. Then, in 2003, in the Jr. Champ division, I placed 3rd in VDKA. In that same year, at the North American Dirt Kart Championships in Margaretville, North Carolina, I qualified on the pole in Jr. Champ Class. Then, in December 2003, for my first time, I went to the World Karting Association Dirt World Championships at Daytona Beach, Florida. There, I qualified on the pole in Jr. Champ Class out of 52 go-karts trying to make a 30 kart field. I placed 3rd in the race. In 2004 I ran all five WKA national races all over the east coast and finished 10th in national points. In VDKA that year I won two state races and finished 3rd in points. In 2005 I ran all five WKA national races and finished 5th in points, and also ran all six VDKA, won one of them, and finished 2nd in points. I have also won many Saturday night races at local tracks. My first Allison legacy Series race was at Old Dominion Speedway in Manassas, Va. on September 3, 2005. There I qualified 8th out of 12 cars and finished 8th in the 50 lap race. Then, on October 22, 2005, I went to Myrtle Beach Speedway in Myrtle Beach, SC. To run a 50 lap race that preceded the USAR Hooters Procup Race. In that, only my second Allison legacy Series start, I qualified 17th and finished 13th out of 22 cars. On November 12, I raced in the Allison Legacy Autumn 200 Championship at Florence Motor Speedway in Timmonsville, SC. Out of 26 cars, I qualified 18, then finished 7th, and won the Hard Charger award.
