First bike, new gear & ready to ride

Overview

How I got started

My dad had a dirt bike when I was little. I used to love to sit on it and pretend I was riding it and doing freestyle tricks. Sometimes he would give me rides on it too. When I was three, I learned to ride my bicycle without training wheels so I could get a dirt bike of my own. My first bike was an XR 50. I raced that bike 2 times when I was five before getting a KTM Pro Senior, that`s when I really started to race a lot.

Goals for the Future

I would like to continue traveling to national events and finish on the podium each time. I plan to try to qualify for Loretta Lynns again next year as well as Ponca City. I will race at Lake Whitney, Oak hill. Mammoth, Dodge and the World Minis. I hope to finally make it to the Mini O's in 2008. I really have enjoyed traveling and riding new tracks all over the country this year. I hope to be able to do a lot more training to improve on my skills. I ride with some really talented riders locally who have taught me so much and I would like to keep learning as much as I can from them.

What inspires you to compete?

Reaching my goal to be a pro someday. I look up to the guys who have made it already, like Mcgrath, Pastrana and Carmichael. I want to be able to help others someday and do good things.

Why do you like this sport?

I like the competition, and still being able to be friends with your competitors. It is so much fun. I like all the friends I make and traveling to new places all the time.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am in sixth grade this year, at Kington Middle School. I tried homeschool for a couple of years, but returned to regular school last year and really like being back in school.  I have two brothers 19 & 17 and two sisters, 6 & 23. My brothers also ride and race and my younger sister rides a little too.

Before every race I like my parents to pray with me and ask God to ride along with me on my bike, keep me safe and everyone around me and help me cross the finish line first.

Why do you compete?

I love racing, I love the feeling I get when I`m on the gate about to start and I love finishing a race knowing I did my best to win. Racing is all I want to do, I will ride and race until I die someday and then I really hope God has dirt bikes in heaven!

What do you want to be when you grow up?

A pro racer, maybe a preacher too. I would also like to travel to outer space someday, but a pro racer for sure!!!!!
