for the Triple Crown Series. Not as good as I had hoped for but still had a ton of fun. My kart is in pretty bad shape right now and I have it stripped down, ready for repairs and new paint. If I can get a copy of my heat race it shows my run to the front and my spectacular flip. Check back for updates.

I ran my last race of the year this past Saturday and Sunday. I didn't do very well at all in the final standings. I had a great heat race going. On lap 5 I made my move and had some help drafting, going into the lead. I counted the laps down every time I crossed the start/finish line. On the last lap, in the middle of the backstretch, I felt the heat under me so I tried to put a block on. But, I couldn't hold him off without wrecking us so I moved to the next groove going into turn 3. Then my help left me and went to the high side of me, making it 3-wide. I tried to pinch the guy under me as low as I could but went a little to far down on him causing us to tangle. The back end starting coming around on me and then, suddenly, my kart did one full roll. I ended up finishing 13th and had to start in the 2nd to last row for the feature. This, unfortunately would cause me to be in the middle of another wreck, severely damaging my kart. I'm already getting ready for next year!

trying to get the kart as ready as it can be. I'm hoping to have a good finish at the last Triple Crown race. The series director is expecting a record turnout, maybe up to 40 karts. Next weekend is going to be huge with the trucks racing and I may have the opportunity to get in the seat of a Legend car for a practice session or 2. I need a good finish to move into the top 5. Anyone in the Orlando are, I encourage you to come out to Orlando Speedworld on Dec.4 and Dec.5 to watch some great racing. And maybe to cheer me on. Look for results to be posted by next Sunday night.

I have a link to the video from the last Triple Crown Series race on Oct. 31st. Check it out. I'm still getting a copy on DVD to do some editing but here's the full race. This track we run about 70-75 mph. For being so low to the ground it seems very fast.

points standings after 3 of 4 races. Check out 8th place. Hoping to move up after the Orlando race. I'm still waiting on the video from the last race in Punta Gorda.

Triple Crown Series. Right now I am sitting in 8th place with one race to go. We get to drop one race so I will be dropping the first race at Inverness. I was unable to complete that feature so I got minimal points. But, I have to have a good run in Orlando. I may be able to get up to 6th but I would need a lot of help to get into the top 5. The guy in 5th would need to finish near the back. It should be a good show to watch. I am still waiting on the video from the last race. I should have it some time next week. Stop again for more updates.

the 31st. Keep checking back and I should have it posted within a week or so. Also, the last Triple Crown race will be Dec. 5th. We will be racing on the 4th as well for a fun-run money race. Both nights will pay $500 to win. This will be a big weekend as it is the charity truckers race. The grandstands should be packed for this event. Visit http://www.carsracermarketing.com/html/news-2009.shtml for the complete details of this event.
