Sydney Photoshoot

4 weeks ago I got an email from 'Descente' a clothing company from asia asking if i would be intersted in doing a Mountainboard photoshoot for their new line of clothing. Stoked i imediantly jumped on the oppurtunity and took the job. The following week I booked my flights to Sydney and was off. I went up on the saturday morning and dropped off all my gear to the manager and spent the rest of the day seeing the sites of Sydney. The next morning I was woken up early as and was picked up in the crew's van. We made our way over to the spot i would be riding at. The hill was really nice, it was long and nice and high. I put on their clothes strapped in a prepared for a long day. I spent probly an hour and a half going down 5 metres of hill to get the shot they wanted. I then had do some modeling shots of the clothing. And finally i got to do what i want, so i bombed the entire hill jumping and jibbing all the way down. The crew was really nice and helpful and made it such a fun exsperience. The photo's look amazing and will make for great exsposure for the sport of Mountainboarding!

The Shak TV show appearance

A few months ago i was selected by a Queensland Mountainboard company Dirt Thereoy Mountainboards to come up to Brisbane to be on the TV show 'The Shak'. The shak is a kids Tv show that plays daily in the afternoon on the 9 network. They wanted to do a segment on Mountainboarding. I arrived in Queensland on the Monday. I spent the first few days seing the sites and relaxing. The next few days i headed down to Brisbane to check out some of the diffrent spot options we where going to ride at. We went to 3 diffrent spots around Brisbane and finally decided on the spot we would film at. We decided that we would ride at the Brisbane dirt track. The track had 3 diffrent lines of fairley large dirt table jumps with enough speed. The following day we took the film crew out to the spot. First we started on the grass hill where I taught the host 'Picasso' how to ride. She picked it up really well and was going from the top of the hill. The director was really happy with how it all looked on film so we then headed over to the dirt jumps. I then padded up and started practising for the shoot ahead. Looking up in the sky storm clowds where gathering so we decided to film straight away. i threw down some nice smooth 360's and a few diffrent grabs and backflip variations. The day ended by the rain though we got all the footage we needed and had a great day. I made a great hook up with channel 9 so hopefully I can have another oppurtunity to do some more TV shows with them. I few months later the show aired and this is how it looked.
