Some Personal Information About Me:
Hey, my name is Emy Yates and i was born in Perth Australia but i am now living in Santa Barbara, CA. I am in 8th grade. I first started surfing when i was 9 years old but i really got into my surfing this past year. I'm going to start competeing this year. My parents are divorced and i have one sister named Jesse. She is two years younger than me. Some things i like to do in my free time are play beach volleyball, paint pictures, hang out with my friends, and hang out at the beach.
Why do you like this sport?
I like this sport because i get to be close to nature, hang out with cool people, and its really FUN!!!!!
Music?
MY favorite singers/bands are Switchfoot, Jack Johnson, MercyMe, Bob Marley, Olivia the Band, and i just like most kinds of music.
Describe your style...
I would say that my surfing style would probably be mostly graceful.
