The reason I really enjoy motorcycling is because it pushes me. It pushes me to conquer my fears, and just go for it. When I was in other sports I never really felt pushed. It was a less intense environment. With motorcycling and riding the track in particular I can't be without intensity.
I am constantly at the gym trying to get into better shape. I will usually go a minimum of 5 days per week but I try to make it 7 days per week. On upper body days I'll usually do the following exercises: Bench Press Declined Bench Press Bicep Curls Lat Pull-Downs Military Press Front Military Press Shoulder Shrugs Standing Rows Rear Delts Core On lower body days I usually do the following: Leg Press or Hack Squat Calf Raises Leg Curls Cardio on stationary bike for around 20 minutes to about 6-8 miles Core I switch between those two runtines daily so I give myself a little bit of time to recover.
Well I'd like to see myself as semi-grown up but if all goes to plan I'll be rubbing elbows with the likes of Spies and Mladin in no time...
I compete because function drives form. It's all about performance for me. As the great Ricky Bobby said, "I wanna go fast!".
I'd have to say life is treating this kid pretty well. I got a roof over my head, and a bike between my legs. So no complaints here!
