What inspires you to compete?

Passion. I love racing. When the flag drops, nothing else matters, I'm in my own world, and for a little while, nothing else exists. There's nothing close to the feeling of finding that limit, the very edge of traction, when it all just clicks. It's like my brain turns off, I don't have to think, I just feel, and ride. That's why I race.

Describe your style...

I'd like to say I'm pretty smooth and calculated. As far as body language goes I ride a bit more upright like Colin Edwards, rather than the elbows out style of Rossi or Spies. I try to keep the bike on rails for the most part, and like to just stay as smooth as possible, but with the new bike I've found sometimes its better to slide the rear more than usual. It works pretty well with the setup we're running.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I'm going to school for engineering so I can be involved in the racing industry. Thats what I love. That's where I belong.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I've got a dirtbike, with a supermoto setup too. I think MotoX is the best cross training. It gives me the best all around workout, while learning to find traction on a bike that will slide and spin all over the place. I also have a Cannondale roadbike I ride to keep my cardio up.

MOSLEY WINS 2009

WERA NATIONAL

CHAMPIONSHIP

On October 10, 2009 JD Mosley wrapped up the Heavyweight Twins Superstock national championship at the WERA Grand National Finals in Braselton Georgia.

Mosley got the holeshot on his Triumph Daytona 675 and proceded to dominate the whole race. He finished 8.7 seconds ahead of second place finisher Matt Salomonson's Ducati 848. With jumping in halfway through the season, Mosley's championship has created alot of excitement and buzz for the 2010 season.
