Wow! Lancaster was one heck of a National! An experience for sure...It was tough, my dad couldn't come, he was at home sick, so the trip already started out a little rough..The weather was tough! The 5 Expert class - even tougher! It was fun though, seeing my little buddies, Jack and Carson and their parents..Thanks for your support! You were right there with me with encouraging words when I didn't make my main on Saturday and my mom and I were right there cheering you on in the MAIN! I'm glad to see that everyone was okay and didn't get hurt while riding in the mud and wind! Kudo's to Jack - 1st place all the way dude! Carson - loved the consistency little buddy! Jack, I had a great time playing with you on Friday.
I came out Sunday with a positive attitude and determined to make my mine, and I did just that! I took 4th and was happy with my BLUE TROPHY! My buddy Aidan took 1st in the 5I class - ahhh yeah! The weather was perfect and I got to go hang in the GT trailer with my favorite girl PRO, Rachel Luna. While there I met Randy Stumphauser and Vet Pro Erik Rupe. They signed my GT Jersey that Rachel gave me..(I love Rachel!). In addition, I hung out with the ABA Crew at Applebys on Friday and was invited in the ABA Trailer. The ride in the ELITE van was sooooo fun. We had a blast riding home joking around with BMX HEX! What a cool crew! Thanks to all my racing buddies back home in NOR-CAL that sent messages/texts cheering me on...OH - did I mention my cool big sister (ALYSSA CANEVARI) made her main all 3 days in 11 Girls and got 2nd on Friday, Crashed on Saturday (took 5th) and 4th on Sunday (by the way - she beat out a NAG 4 rider)....The weekend was AWESOME aside from a few setbacks! To all BMX'ers keep your head up and stay positive....

I've been riding hard these last few months, trying to accomplish a goal of mine, turning Expert. I was lucky enough to go to the Salt Lake City Nationals this past weekend..I took first in the Pre-Race on Friday and took First on the Saturday National, which turned me Expert for Sunday's National. This was a tough class - 6 kids. It was especially hard because my buddy and team-mate, Coby Witten and I had to battle out for the last spot..I made my main and took 5th place......I had fun racing with all the little dudes (and chicks) - I raced the 6 mixed Open on Saturday with Camille Harvey (Little Business - NAG #3) and The California Kid - where I took 2nd.....
During my downtime, I went swimming with all the Nor-Cal kids...Sumi, Ryan, Bo-Bo, Jimmy, Jacob, The Savage (Zach) Alisia, Vanessa, Johnnie (J-Dog), Elijah, and we had a BLAST! (NOR-CAL PULL)
Good times with my team, too! Dinner was FUN! If you were one of 20 people there, you'd know..
Gotta go for now, I need to practice and get faster..

This weekend I had the opportunity to race in the Summer Nationals in my own backyard - Yep, that's right, ROSEVILLE, CA! The Minton's did so many improvements to the track and it looked AWESOME!
I had a terrific time with my team - ELITE Bikes and my family and friends. I got to meet new friends - Carson Woods and that fast boy - Jack Kelly! It was a great time for all! I had an even better time racing and watching the moto's.
It was a great feeling to see all the press out there capturing pics and videos. This is a great way to get the word out on BMX!
I was lucky enough to get an interview from a reporter from the Sacramento Bee - check it out - it's pretty cool...

I've been told that I am a man of many words...
I hope everyone that attended had a great time and I think we put Nor-Cal on the map!!

I had a great time this weekend in Albequerque, New Mexico!
My parents decided to go last minute to New Mexico, so me, my sister and my friend/GF Sumi could race at the Spring Nationals..It was a long drive, but overall, I had a great time with my family, friends, and my Team - Elite Bikes!
Friday's Pre-Race was fun! I almost got first, but ended up with 2nd..
Saturdays race, I got a bad gate and came from fourth to strong 2nd..
Sunday, had a good gate, wanted first soooo bad, took the first burm hard, and caught the leaders tire, and went down, going for FIRST!! My eye was busted and I ended up with 7th. My parents were very proud of me for going down hard, chasing the #1...

I wanted to tell everyone "THANKS" who attended the Easter Egg Hunt and racing @ Oak Creek on Sunday (Yes, EASTER)! It was a whole lotta fun for all. The kids (and parents) had a BLAST!
I know that James really enjoyed all the special treats and the EASTER basket that came from the Yuki's.....Thanks YUKI's!
I know that spending a holiday @ the track is not traditional to some, but I think if you really love BMX, there is nothing wrong with hangin' at the track on EASTER! I hope we see you all (those who attended, and those who couldn't) next week @ the track!
That's how us BMX peeps ROLL!!!
Thanks again to all! HAPPY EASTER!
