What do you enjoy doing when you are not training/racing?
I like riding pitbikes and bicycles, along with snowboarding occasionally. Other than that I really just enjoy freeriding and practicing.
What are your competitive highlights from the past few years?
2006 - Silver Olympiad in 125 C at the Mini O’s.
-S.R.A.C. Colorado State champion in the 16-24 age group.
2007 - 9th place 4 Stroke 250cc & under non-pro, and 8th Place mid size open non-pro at the Amateur Open in Phoenix.
-S.R.A.C. Colorado State champion in 17-24 Open and 17-24 125.
2008: 22nd place 250 Mod intermediate and 12th 250 fourstroke non-pro at the Ponca City GNC.
-7th place midsize open and 6th place 4 stroke 250cc and under at the Amateur Open in Phoenix, AZ.
2009 - 28th in 250 A and 25th in 250 A/Prosport at the 2009 Loretta Lynn's Amateur National.
Wha does your training schedule look like?
My training includes weights, intense cardio, and mental strength. I train and ride 4 days a week with one of
Colorado’s top pros, Derek Anderson. I also race on weekends with the SRAC and RMXA.
What are your plans for the remainder of 2009 and 2010?
I am working towards a business degree through the
University of Phoenix Online in fall 2009. This will allow me to continue to put 110% into my racing career. After Loretta’s I will compete in local races in Colorado, then the Amateur Open in Phoenix, AZ in November. I will spend the remaining six months preparing for the 2010 AMA Outdoor Nationals, where we will compete in all twelve rounds.
What are your goals?
I am an extremely dedicated and hard working racer, and I expect nothing but the very best out of myself. I achieved all my goals for 2009, which included qualifying for Loretta Lynn’s in the Pro class, and consistently finishing in the top 5 locally my first year Pro. My goal for next year is to put in the practice and work it takes to become a consistent top forty racer in the AMA Outdoor Nationals.While competing in the twelve round series I want to make top forty at
each round and create a respectable well known image for myself and my sponsors.
