Dear Chelsea McLean,

Congratulations on your 1st place win in the 2007 Southern AB Series. As a result of your finish you are now classified as a Ladies A rider. The top three finishers in the Ladies B class in the AB Provincial Series, the SOAB Series or the Western Canadian Amateur National will automatically be advanced to the Ladies A class in the following season, as long as the rider is on an 80cc bike or larger.

Ladies who participate in the A class are eligible to ride the Junior classes (125 A, 125 B, 250 and GP Junior) as long as their bike and age matches the eligibility requirements for the Junior classes.  Ladies A participants on smaller bikes will be eligible for any class for which their bike and age meets the eligibility for that class. (i.e. 80cc, super mini).

Ladies who participate in the B class are eligible to ride in the Beginner classes (125, 250 and GP) as long as their bike and age meet the eligibility requirements for the Beginner classes.  Ladies B participants on smaller bikes will be eligible for any class for which their bike and age meets the eligibility for that class (i.e. 60cc)

Good luck this season.

Putting a good effort into my last few days of practice before winter hit.  As winter pushed back a few more days and then a few more one ride did me in with the silliest crash.  Landing on my head, badly bruising my leg to the bone and breaking my right hand.  Head is doing great and the brusing is almost gone on the leg, but being right handed the right hand is taking a while to get back to any sort of normal.  Glad it happend at the end of the season for this one, would be a hard state to race in.
