Why do you compete?
I love the competition! I LOVE to win!But most of all I love racing - seeing the world zoom past you at 50-72mph is so cool!
What inspires you to compete?
I love giving my self goals - whether it's to pass the guy in front of me or to win the overall SWRC races.
My next goal is to make the podium in my first National race.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I'm at the track every weekend with my dad practicing my lines. We always try to make our local races as long as we aren't at an away race.
When I'm not racing I swim lots and like to play basketball and football with my friends. I use to do tae kwon do but the schedule interfered with my racing. It helped a lot with my concentration.
we are going to be doing lots of traveling this summer to other tracks around the U.S. just to give me more experience on different types of tracks.
Some Personal Information About Me:
I got my first kart when I was five as a Christmas gift from my parents. My very first race I came in 3rd - that's where I got my nick name leadfoot, I never took my foot off the gas. It scared my mom to death!
I'm usually the youngest driver in the classes I drive in. Sometimes the older guys try to intimidate me but it doesn't work. It makes me try even harder. Lots of the guys I compete against have huge rigs and tuners that they travel with. I don't have any of that and I still win! I think it's more about what kind of determination you have on the inside that makes you a winner or not.
Some Personal Information About Me:
I'm an all A student and always have been - at least so far. I really like math and science they are my favorite subjects.
