announce that team driver Lil AL Simpson (12) of Camarillo, CA has been selected to participate in the Ron Sutton's Winner's Circle NASCAR driver development program shoot out to be held on the weekend of October 3rd, 4th & 5th
“Out of over 600 driver candidates from across the nation, we decided Lil Al is one of the talented drivers we want to give an opportunity to in the Shoot-Out” Ron Sutton
The shoot out is designed to identify the next young guns with the talent and fire to go all the way to professional racing careers in NASCAR. If selected to be a part of the RSWC Driver Career Development Program, Lil AL will be raced, groomed, coached, tested, trained and molded into what NASCAR Cup teams want in their drivers.

I was selected from over 700 applicants and awarded one of only 6 sponsored spots.  My Dad was in Germany so I could not attend but I was very proud to be selected.

Went to the Toyota All Star Showdown last night. Met Joey Logano he is way cool..my new favorite driver!

I started on the outside pole(white car #31). After getting spun around on lap three I was able to work my way back through the field and take the win!.
