About me!

How did you get started?

I began training for my first sprint triathlon in April of 2007 and competed in my first triathlon in June of 2007. I did 3 sprints my first year. In 2008 I completed the BSLT 70.3 and was hooked to the sport of triathlon. I have become very focused and dedicated to the sport and have set very high goals for myself. I have improved greatly in a short amount of time and continue to work very hard and want to work my way to becoming a professional triathlete. I believe I have what it takes to get there it will just take time!

List your competitive highlights:

fist and only half Ironman at Buffalo Springs and it was an awesome experience!! I got 10th in my age group & 115th out of 935 finishers and I completed it in 4:56:22!!! 1st in the Lake Tanglewood "Tri to Make a Difference" sprint triathlon (set course record by 4 minutes), 1st in the Race for the Cure 5K. 16th overall at the PlayTri Festival in Irving, TX. Won my age group and got 16th out of 245!! 1st and only marathon, Austin marathon 2:59:36!

What are you planning for next season?

I will be focusing on the Olympic distance for the next few years. In September I will be racing in Budapest, Hungary at the Age Group World Championships! I will also be racing in Minnesota in the Life Time Fitness series race. Plan to race Captex Olympic triathlon in May as well and Attempt to get my Elite card.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

Qualifying for Age Group World Championships in Budapest, Hungary Septmeber 2010!
