Where the hell have i been?
Ok, three weeks until I get fixed...what have i been doingv for the past month?
Riding. Lots. I am on a really specific plan www.liquidfitness.com if anyone wants to check it out, I like it a lot. Went on my first team/group ride and got hammered last saturday. I hope this upcoming ride I give a little more.
i am very pleased with my progress-I think if all goes as planned with surgery and rehab, I should be able to have a decent 'cross season-I'm sure It will be beter than last year.
There is an interesting article on the cxmagazine website about keeping 'cross real, and secret, and it almost turned me off of the whole deal, until i went and wrote thru my thoughts. The only way to keep something alive is to grow it, to feed it-and in the case of sport, that means allowing new people, whatever their motivation, to participate and enjoy, and it is the veterans responsibility to welcome and teach the rookies. without new blood in the water, the sharks would leave.
So I'll end this update by saying thanks to Sockguy, Don Joy and Motortabs-for sponsoring or supporting grassroots racing/ racers (ME!) and to everyone who brings something to the sport you compete in, whether it is people, support, food, cowbells, ac/dc...
Untill next week
