Why do you like this sport?
i like this sport, becuase its a individual sport. your work and practice shows how good you are. another reason i like this sport is that you have to be in shape for it. this sport is unlike another other sport out there, for instance take golf as an example. in golf the point is to put the ball in the hole and ride your golf cart. in motocross the pint is to win, but everytime you go around the track it is always different. the challenge of racing MX is addicting to. your pretty much holding on to 200 or so lbs and going about 50 mph or faster with 2 gallons of flammeble gas between your legs, and the guy in front of you is throwing roost at you with speeds in excess of hundred mile per hour, and we know that we are taking a chance on getting hurt. yet we do it anyways.
Some Personal Information About Me:
well i have raced for 2 years now. some AMA district 29, district 11 and outlaw series. i served in the infantry in the Marine Corp. the money i received from the military bought my bike. i currently work at BAE Systems in Fairfield Ohio, building armored hummves and MRAP truck. when im not doing that im out riding and having fun with friends on the bike. . i have always admired motocross.
What inspires you to compete?
adrenaline mostly. the other thing is that i love being competitive. when im out on the track and me and another rider are going at it, its so much fun. the other thing is that im out there doing things most people wont and will not do. and when you win a race that was neck and neck the whole time, it feels so great to be doing what im doing out there on the bike.
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
i wrecked on the finish line triple at Lake Bailee mx on the last lap. i hit some loose dirt and lost traction and came up short in front of everybody.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
yeah i train. my schedule is like this. i work 3rd shift so when i get off of work i go to the track in the morning and ride for 3 hours. go home get some sleep get up clean bike. monday-friday thing and i ride all weekend unless there is a race. other than that i work out with 100lb windshields.
