WELCOME TO MY PROFILE!

About Me

Well, my name is Nate Wielkiewicz. I live in St. Cloud, MN. I have been racing for 8 years now and 2009 has been by far the best, so far. This year I raced in the 15 expert class, UNSPONSORED. I currently seperated my collarbone so I'm out from riding and training for awhile. My best national finish was 4th at Rockford Day 2. I beat Jon Jon, Justin Posey, Dan Tritz, and some other kid. But I also got 5th in 15-16 open that day. I would have gotten 4th but I came unclipped and Stephan Fahy passed me down last straight.  In 2010 my goal is to go to the UCI Worlds and place top 4 and also to get a NAG plate. If you are interested in sponsoring me, contact me please!

Q&A - Personal

Employment / Experience Summary

I currently work at Granite City Cycle and Sport. I am a bike builder where I build bikes obviously. This is the best job ever because not only is it my first but its really funny. My friend Austin works there and there is this really mean guy, Luke that works there so its funny to see him get mad. Our boss is really nice and stuff too.

What inspires you to compete?

Well, right now I want to go to the 2010 UCI Worlds and get World 1. My other goal is to get a NAG plate. I set my goals high and plan to reach them next year.

Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?

I usually like to travel if i'm going to a national or something. Well this year I went to Guthrie with Nate, his dad, and Jeremy. It was really fun even though I sucked there. The car ride was really fun because I had my two best Bmx friends in it and I know Gary pretty well so it was fun.

Music?

I'd have to say I like alot of music. Everything almost. I like the bands Silverstein, Juneau, Delta Delta!, 3oh!3, The Devil Wears Prada, Show Me the Skyline, and a ton of other bands at the moment.

Some Personal Information About Me:

Lets see. I attend Apollo High School and am a sophomore. I'm taken :) I like photography. School isn't my favorite thing to do but I still try to make it threw the day. In the winter when I like to snowboard. I started last year so I'm not that good...yet.

Nate's friend, Joey "the Firecracker" Franzen, is the best BMX racer in the district and is willing to help Nate along. Still, Nate has no idea what it takes to be a good racer or if he can learn enough in time to compete at Grand Nationals. What he does know, even from the start, is that he has to be relentless in pursuit of his dream." Visit www.maineventpress.com to order your copy now! Only $12.95
