Chris Roberts, the organizer for the national races here in England, has announced the first three venues for the 2007 4X season.
March 4th, 2007: Sheffield, UK. The one and only indoor BMX track in all of England will play host to our first race of the season. This is a great track and I did really well on it last year. The owners of the track have redone the two middle lines, or so I've been told, and, according to some friends of mine that live up there, the track's going take some work to get around it! I can't wait.
April 1st, 2007: Chicksands, UK. This was the UK's newest 4X track in 2006 and it was the track we finished the 2006 season on. It also happens to be my home track and it also happens to be the one race I was shut out of the finals on. Not this year. Not this time. I learned from my mistakes and this year there's nothing stopping me from taking this one all the way!
May 6th, 2007: Fort William, Scotland. This is the same track the World Championships will be held on in September of this year! I can't wait. I've only seen arial photographs of the new track, but it looks like a great time. Taken a win here would be the world to me.
Other venues are being planned (And built in some cases!) as we speak and I'm sure Chris will have the info out to the public as soon as things become clear.
I'm really looking forward to this season and racing against some real legends!
