What inspires you to compete?
I love a challenge and when I was told in the very beginning of my career that my father was only going to ask my brother to race, it ticked me off. There was no way he was going to cut me out of an opportunity in the drag racing field and now it has turned into something I love to do. I also like it when guys think they can beat me on the track and I win the round. I had a lot of that going on in 2007. Older guys telling me they were going to take me to school when they saw that I was going to race against them...and then I would school them. All you have to do is say I can't and that gets me ready for any challenge.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I practice almost every day on my reaction time. Our only vacation from racing is usually from December until the beginning of March. Being physically fit is very important because there are days when we competed from 9:30AM until 1: AM...that's a long day especially if it is over 95 degrees and the track temp is about 140 degrees.
Music?
I love all kinds of music.
How's Life Treating You?
Life - God has been very good to me. I have parents that are involved in my life, that love my brother and I more than words can say. I have won many racing events. I do well in school and one of the things I enjoy is working as a volunteer for DRAW (Drag Racing Association of Women) They give injured drivers financial and/or spiritual help. I have also been involved in Community Service since fourth grade.
I started off in Fairfax County, VA . Then when we moved to the country I attented a private school there and then went on to another school in Tappahannock, VA , but now I attend a University in Virginia.
