Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

My first Competion was the Wicklow big Boat Bonanza in 2004. I had just turned 14 and it was first time on a class 4 rapid! I practised all day and was super pumped for the race. Anyway I ended up missing my heat because I was in awe watching the seniors blast down!

What are you planning for next season?

Compete at home and train hard. Secure my place in Irish team again and win the Clare glens extreme race. Heading to the States for the summer, don't know where yet but somewhere kayak related!
