inflammations of your intestines are no fun! I missed a week of practice and a local race!

I got the holeshot, only to fall in the 3rd turn of the race. During the first lap, I caought back up and passed everyone and was the race leader. Gary Carrier and I have an ongoing battle of epic proportions. Gary and I passed each other back and forth for the lead around 5 or 6 times. I didn't pit early enough and ran out of gas with 2 laps to go. This took me to 6th place in the class. Not the race I needed. Needless to say, I was frustrated.

I had a great battle with Gary Carrier, the race winner, all day.  We swapped the lead no less than ten times throughout the two hour race.  I fell on the last lap and lost about a minute, then caught back up to 19 seconds behind Gary at the finish.

I led the race from the start all the way until I had two miles to go on the last lap.  I ran out of gas.  Two miles to go, and a two minute lead, and I ran out of gas.  Needless to say, I was quite frustrated.
