Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
I had always wanted to race competitively and decided to give it a try since i wasn't getting any younger. So at 38 years old went to the first OXC race in Mountain View in 2008. I placed 12th out of 21 and was hooked.
List your competitive highlights:
3rd place finish in OXC series at Warsaw on July 5, 2008. !st place finish at Fox Valley Off-Road park on 8/26/2008. 1st place finish on 10/12/2008 at Fox valley Off-Road Park. 2nd place finish in WFO series in East Moline on 8/31/2008.
What are you planning for next season?
I have moved up to the "B" class in the IATVHSS series and District 17. I am racing in the B+30 class in the OXC series. I am hoping to be placing in the top 5 in B class races by the end of the year.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Winning District 17, 2008 "C" class harescramble championship in my 1st year of racing.
