I finished 9th in Sport Category @ Cycle Mania today. My time was 1hour & 25 mins, the race course was 2 laps for sport category and was about 15 miles total. This was my first sport category race of the season. The race was held at Blue Marsh Lake and was very fast paced with a few deep hill climbs, tight single track, bridge crossings. I had a awesome time at the race and relaxed after the race with a cook out at the lake.

I finished 7th - Time 1hour and 12mins at Xc Stage Race in Marysville, PA on July 5 2008. It was very tight single track and had exposed roots and creek crossings, narrow bridges. As the result of rain from night before, the single track was very slick. makes you wonder if a snake created this single track. I crashed by slidding on some roots, but the bike and myself are fine...

This is the sixth year for the Tour de Tykes. Despite the name, this race isn’t just for kids. The Tour de Tykes is a world class cross country mountain bike race held in Central Pennsylvania. The name was derived from the fact that all proceeds are donated to the Children’s Miracle Network.

I had my 2nd Xc Race of the season yesterday at On the Rocks @ French Creek State Park in PA with Jay. I finished 11th in my age group, I ended up getting two flat tires about 2 miles into the race I got them changed and got back into the race passing a few people in my age group, I was doing pretty good until about 2 miles from the finish line when I got another flat tire. I rode the bike on the flat tire because i didnt want to be last, I'll be going tube less here soon. This course was 9 miles very muddy and rocky/roots with technical steep climbs, step climbs. I had a great time hanging out with Jay and his family, they are great people to hang out with.
