Overview

How I got started

My story began on July 7,1999 when my dad and mom brought me in the this world. At the age of 3, I was into any and all things extreme. Skateboarding, doing tricks on my bike, stuff like that. Then Christmas of 2003 I got my first dirtbike. A PW50. Man was it fast or so I though. So later the next year I had my first race. I came in first place and fifth overall in the 7-9 years old. Yeah, we didn`t know they had a class for the 4 to 6 year old`s, so that was the start of my racing career. Christmas of 2004 I got my second dirtbike, a JR50 Suzuki and in a matter of weeks broke the frame from jumping in the back yard, I was ready to move on to a faster and bigger bike. So a few months later I got my third dirtbike, a King Cobra! This thing move`s! It run`s about 58 miles an hour with me on it,If not faster. My mom did not take to well to me going that fast but she knew in the end this is what i wanted to do. My dad would ride me around on his dirtbike, showing me how to get faster and more precise. The whole time I was having a blast. I raced alot of races and won more then my share of 1st place. My latest addition to my DB collection is a Polini X1 Works. This monster will hump.I love to race, but what I really like to do is freestlye. I can already do a no footer, nac nac,and look back and point at riders behide me when I`m in the air on a big jump. My mom and dad will not let me do the superman yet! But one day I will get too.

Goals for the Future

I hope to work my way to Lorretta Lynn`s. I plan on racing all my local races, going on to compete and place first in the Lorretta Lynn`s quailifier and of course then on to LL`s. I also hope to compete at Ponca this year also. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication but I have plenty of both so hopefully this will be the year.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

I find the challenge of competition inspiring. When racing, I always take something away from the experience, whether it be learning from a mistake I made or a big trophy for a great win. I find competing gives you the experience and knowledge you need to be a great competitor.

Why do you like this sport?

My mom says I have been "hyper" since birth,so I have a lot of energy. I love to go fast and I love things that are physical and challenging. Motocross gives me the release I need. It takes concentration, focus and discipline to ride and this really helps me alot. I have alot of fun riding and competing. We get to travel and meet new people during race season. It`s a great sport to do and I have a blast doing it.

Some Personal Information About Me:

My name is Nicolas Kai Adams. I am 7 years old and live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I am in the first grade. I like playing soccer, fishing, swimming, and camping. I am in gymnastics and KungFu. I have already earned my yellow belt at my school, Shifu Liu`s Institute of Shaolin KungFu. I mastered the back hand spring after my 1st class of gymnastics and am working on a back flip now. I love spending time with my family and friends. And of course I love riding my dirtbike.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I train and practice anywhere from 3-6 days a week. If there is a race upcomming I will practice daily 2 weeks prior to that event. I have a practice track at my house so after school and after homework I go out and practice for at least an hour and a half. On the weekends we go out to the local track to train. This gives me the time to strengthen my skills in competiton.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

A professional motocross competitor. I love racing motocross and what better way to earn a living than doing something you love. Hopefully this will work out for me, if not, my mom says there is always medical school.
