Well where to start. First things first iowa has been totally crushed by weather that has devastated our local tracks and riding areas, and the gas price has made it very hard to make any trips out of state. I myself had a very unfortunate mishap about a month ago when we had a bad storm and I had a tree fall on the house so I have had to work long hours for the money to purchase materials and then long hours repairing the damge so practice and racing have been far and few between. However I will be racing at one of our local tracks this month (august) and will hopefully be reporting back with a great finish.     Also my practice time should pick up in the next few months because I have finally gotten the okay to go ahead and build my track on my property!!!!

This is a blog meant somewhat for my sponsors or anyone following my profile and 08 season.

       I will be putting the racing and hardcore practicing on the back burner for a week or two, So that I may assist my comunity in cleanup and the rebuilding of there homes and such. Due to the tornado that we had on sunday may 25   that tore through our community destroying everything in it's path, as of today may 27 2008   the tornado was declared an F5 which is the most devastating that there is. It had recorded 200+ mile an hour winds and destroyed some 250+ homes and last I heard 125+ injured and 5 deaths. It was a very close call for my wafe and I because it's path was only 7 to 10 miles south of our home, so our state governor has declared us in a national distater status so I am gonna due my duty as a man and as a human being and a member of society and give all the assistance I can to the community and those who were unfortunate enough to not be out of this freak of mother natures path!!! I will keep on my profile daily though so keep in touch all. I have 2 pictures of the damage if you are interested to see I will try and get more soon keep checking in.

to all interested my next race will be May 17 08     at hawkeye downs  in cedar rapids. We will see how it goes I have been practicing for the last 2 weeks and have never raced at hawkeye downs but have heard it is harder than most tracks but we will see what happens.......
