Overview

How I got started

My entire family was involved in dirtbikes and we spent a lot of weekends at our cabin in Twentynine Palms. My dad had me on a Honda trail 50 by the time I was five years old and I grew up riding in the Southern California desert. I only entered a few events growing up and just recently started racing District 37 events in march of 2005.

Goals for the Future

In 2008, I will be competing in the following District 37 series: Desert, Enduro, G.P., and Best of the West.  I'm looking forward to 2008 and plan on earning a Top 10 number in the Expert/Sen/250 class in all four of these series.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

Several things: (1) the thrill of the competition, (2) it keeps me in shape, and (3) I get to hang out with my family and good friends and have great times. Also, my 11 year old son will be racing the G.P. series in 2008 and will start racing the Desert series 2009. I wouldn't want to be doing anything else at this point in my life.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

At one of my earlier desert races, I pulled over and stopped after passing the checkered flag but before going through the scoring chute. I heard people yelling at me and pointing towards the chute. By the time I realized it, got restarted and back into the scoring chute I had lost 2 overall positions, luckily they weren't in my class.
