Why do you like this sport?
Motocross above all other things I`ve done(except for jumping off of a sixty ft. high cliff into water) is the most exciting. It is a great adrenaline rush and is a solo sport. I do not have to rely on other people to do well and can`t blame anyone else for a bad race. Motocross is the funnest sport I have ever participated in.
Some Personal Information About Me:
I am involved in an honors program at IUPUI that allows highschoolers to take college courses. The SPAN program (at IUPUI) allows me to take full on college courses in classes with college students and college professors. I HAVE A GPA OF 3.745 AFTER TWO SEMSTERS! I am very competitive, like to stay in shape, and am active in my church youth group. I also manage, operate, and advertise my own lawn mowing business. I am layed back outside of sports, have a good sense of humor, and I am able to do almost anything that I am motivated to do.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I bike 2 or three times a week and jog every once in a while. I am in good enough shape so that when I randomly run I can finish two miles in about 11 min.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
My true desire of a job when I grow up is to be a professional motocrosser just like about every other racer my age. Besides that, I`d either like to be some kind of doctor(maybe sports medicine) or an entrepenuer.
Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?
Last year (2005), over the summer I travelled to Nairobi, Kenya on a missions trip with my church. It was the most eye opening experience I have ever had. I learned how much I really had after visiting Kibera ( a huge slum) and have been changed ever since. I appreciate being able to ride more than ever now. This summer, I went on a missions trip with Church at the Crossing to Tijuanas Mexico. I helped with Vacation Bible School for different churches there. Then, we went to L.A. for the International Youth Convention. It was an awesome trip.
