I have just raced the otago open, i had good and bad points to the weekend with starting on pole for heat 1, the race started off well with me gaining a gap in the wet conditions but as it dryed out the field managed to catch back up with me but i held on for the win. Heat 2 i was starting 4th on the grid but had brake problem in turn 1 with the amount of water in the brakes i ended up having a spin managed to get going again and finished 8th. Heat 3 we raced this one on slicks as the track had dryed i started 9th and am unsure of the finishing position. Heat 4 i started 8th on the grid it rained really hard just before the start i drove a very good race to finish 2nd. Final i started on 3 had a lonely race in 2nd but that got me 3rd overall for the event so all in all it was a good day.

hi everyone

I am pleased to say that 2009 has started off every well for me. We have had 4 meetings so far this year and i havent finished outside the top 3 yet. The last meeting we had i took 4 wins and a 2nd place which has also given me the points lead for our club so i am very happy with how we have started the year and hope for it to continue.
