So just wanted to put a shout out to EVO MX tank foam. I was a little leary of putting tank foam into a fuel injected bike with the whole fuel pump stuffed in the tank and all. I went ahead and did it anyway. I noticed right away a lighter more nibble feeling bike with a much better resistance the G forces felt in fast bermed corners, hard jump landings, and G outs in whoops. On a super positive note I recently had to change my fuel filter on my 09crf 450 as honda had a service bulletin on problems with it. Upon removing the fuel pump and filter I was happy to find 0 tank foam particals. This I believe is due to the way they cut there foam. Anyway just helped relieve some doubts. :-) Thanks EVO MX |

Evomx Anti-Slosh Fuel Tank FoamWhy do I need EvoMx anti-slosh fuel tank foam?If you've ever carried a hot cup of coffee across the room, then you can appreciate the problem of slosh, or as scientists call it: oscillating liquid motion due to disturbances. As you ride, your fuel level decreases and the remaining fuel is excited by the movement of your vehicle. Each bump, jump, corner, acceleration and deceleration, causes your fuel to slosh. When the fuel sloshes in your tank, the forces of the fuel movement are transferred to the wall of the tank and the force is transferred throughout your vehicle, including your handlebars! Long story short, fuel slosh negatively affects your vehicle's handling. A gallon of gas weighs approximately 6.25 pounds. Most dirtbike fuel tanks hold around 2 gallons, many streetbikes can hold 4-5 gallons, and snowmobiles and watercraft can hold as much as, and more than, 9 gallons! The inertia of the fuel slosh can make your fuel weight seem like you have 3 times as much fuel in your tank! How does EvoMx anti-slosh fuel tank foam work?EvoMx fuel tank foam contains thousands of pores which stabilize the fuel's movement in the tank. The foam is so porous it only takes up 1% of total tank volume. EvoMx fuel tank foam has a 15 year lifespan, so maintenance is minimal. Why EvoMx anti-slosh foam and not the competitor's?Our foam is specially cut to ensure that it is particle free so that it won't obstruct any part of your fuel system. Our convenient cube design makes for easy installation and a universal fit in all model gas tanks. EvoMx fuel tank foam is specifically designed for use in fuel applications. Evomx has been tested with the US Airforce to have a minimium of a 15 year life, making maintenance minimal. Where can I buy EvoMx anti-slosh fuel tank foam?Click here! www.evomx.com
