If you think winning 5 events in 3 months and qualifying in at least 8 finals is the result of just skill, well your mistaken! this sick stick wont just get you world titles but mad (insert vulgarness here). All i got to say is Sick Board!!! He likes to call it his "magic stick" (TM pending) HAHA!! I'd hate think know what else he calls his magic stick......Ziiii-ng!!!!!

Paddle boarders Unite!!!!...
The Rainbow Sandals "Battle of the Paddle" had the feel of a SUP Woodstock of sorts...gathering of the tribes...
The morning of the race on Saturday saw competitors and spectators multiplying many times over what the race organizers had anticipated...seemed like cars with 12' - 18' standups stretched on for a couple of miles...
254 standup paddle racers in the open class...along with 80 invitees...
I don't think anybody really knew that it would get this big...this fast...
The aloha spirit was in good attendance...very kewl vibe...

Congrats to Chuck Patterson on his custom carbon Hobie and sporting the H2O Audio... he gambled on a $200 entry fee and walked away with $10K in beer money...he was on the wagon for the last month...;-)
