So, i wanted to make an update for those of you who still look at my profile.

In 2008 i got offered to join the KTM ICELAND youth racing team, which i did.

i finished the championship in 13th out of 43 riders due to missing a race cause of injury and having 2 dnf's cause of bike breaking down on me.

for this winter i got :
2 pieces of 2007 KTM sx250f
one is my competition bike which has a fresh motor, so its not being used untill next summer, its prepped and ready for the first race, with Race tech suspension, Akrapovich exhaust and my usual white plastics + custom graphics and a stearing damper handlebar.

other one is my training bike, which has my orange plastics, tuned out wp suspension, custom graphic kit, stock exhaust.

in 2008 i managed to get about 1500$ for my racing fee's from sponsor's(so everything is possible if you want it bad enough).

I raced the B nationals in enduro, finished 20th due to several dnf's.

In 2009 i am still in the KTM ICELAND youth racing team, and going for the top 5 in the championship hopefully podium in every race. But lets try to get some real riding done first. Got a new personal trainer which raced the MXDN on behalf of Iceland and did really well, he placed 4th in the Mx1 icelandic championship due to  missing 2 races because of a broken leg.

My offseason just ended and preseason is starting, got my training schedule being built as we speak and it should be ready next weekend.

This winter i have been riding Ice and doing deep sand tracks.

so i just wanted to make an update :)

to ride again. Winter Enduro scheduled 2 times this week :)

So, i have been saving up all year, and finally i got it through, i am going to the Stefan Everts school in February, and will stay for a week :D so ill post some pics when it comes to that ... :D

So finally i got my new bike, been waiting for it for two months :P its a dream and i love it :D

so i raced "The arctic offroad challenge" for the first time on saturday, it was also my birthday :D, in this race you race with a buddy, so you have

a racing team of 2 people. Each lap takes about 25 - 30 mins, so usually you race one lap, then your buddy goes one lap, you get a little coin, that you have to put through a scan each time you finish your lap, and each time you send your buddy out, you need to give the coin to him.

anyways.

there were 490 persons competing, or 245 teams, me and my friend went for top 50, we were in 39th place on the last lap, when my bike brokedown, i ran 10 km back in my gear, took my buddy's bike (kx250) and finished on that, we finished in 77th place, but we are going for top 20 next year, anyways here are some photos from the race (not all off me)

ohh and, we got nice weather haha noooot. :P

started out 20°C and sunny, then went from sunny to cloudy, from cloudy to rainy, and from rainy to snowing :D

so, as a warmup for the Motocross season which is coming up, i decided to race iceland's hardest enduro race on saturday :) its gonna be hella fun, im signed in it with my buddy amongst 407 others and we are going for top 50 or even better :).

Anyways here is some info on the race if you would like to read:

6th annual TransAtlandic Off-Road Challenge

Iceland

26. May 2007

Like last year this event will take place at Kirkjubaejarklaustur, a small town on the east coast of Iceland some 260 km from Reykjavik.

The surroundings for an off-road race could not be more appropriate, in clear weather you can see two glaciers and one of them is the biggest one in Europe (and in both lurk volcanoes).

The format is like the Offroad Challenge series which is popular in central Europe, 6 hours of pure off-road racing, (well one contestant from Britain said it was like 6 hours of motocross racing, but he was more used to racing without turning in rally raids). You can race alone for 6 hours (not wise for anyone) or team up with a mate. Two mates can ride two bikes. No quad are allowed.

1 rider rides at a time and carries a RFID (small plastic coin with electronic ID). You can ride as many laps as you want until you change with you buddy. Usually each member rides one lap and rests and refuelles for one lap. You have to give your buddy the RFID on pitlane when you switch between riders.

The race starts at 12:00 noon for everyone and it lasts for 6 hours till 6:00 pm.

The course is around 15 -20 km long and when describing it its fitting to quote Dirt Bike Rider editor Sean Lawless: "These quality zzzzzs turn out to be a bloody good thing too because the course is a bit of a bugger to put it mildly. Early on it's grassy going with lots of tight twists and turns up, down, over and around a series of big mounts before heading out into what is best described as a volcanic desert. The sand is dark, deep and super-fine so it´s a case of arse over the rear mudguard ..."

Previous riders include: David Knight(2 times world champion and being enduro worldchampion), Giavanni Sala(4 time enduro world champion), Anders Eriksson(7time enduro world champion)

Havent been able to do much riding lately since it began to snow again here in little Iceland, sucks.

but i have decided to move to USA the summer of 2009 and i have already began the application process to get the Green card and so on :), so im hope i can do some racing in the US when i get there, cant move sooner since i need to finish 12 years in school before i can get into College in US, so anyways, ill post some pictures of me riding as soon as i go riding again ;)

So i finally got my 2007 KTM Sx125 so i can start training again, although it has been snowing in iceland for the past few days :(.

Anyways, got some good news yesterday when i went to pick up my bike, and those news were that i was going to England 8 - 11th february with KTM Iceland racing team, to do some training and maybe be offered a deal :D so im hoping the best to come out of it, and i might also be going to England again at Easter for 10 days with KTM Iceland again, so i hope it works out :)

Hey there! So i sold my 05 KTM last friday(29th december) and ordered a new KTM SX125cc 2007 last night, so i will be getting it next week, so i should be able to start my riding again as soon as possible :D

Peace!
