What inspires you to compete?
I am inspired by all other racers, to see someone excelling on the track who shares the same dedication, determination, and passion for the sport makes me want to ride hard and fast.
Some Personal Information About Me:
I was born and raised in Kaneohe, Hawaii where I participated in all the outdoor activities that the beautiful weather permited such as surfing, wakeboarding, diving, hiking, and motorcycle riding. I moved to Seattle, Washington in the summer of 1998 to pursue a degree from University of Washington. In 2003 I graduated from the School of Medicine with a degree in Laboratory Medicine with an emphasis in Clinical Microbiology. I currently work for Evergreen Hospital as a Clinical Microbiologist.
Why do you compete?
I compete because I love to challange myself and constantly push the boundries of my physical abilities. The thrill of competition is also a driving factor but pobably the biggest reason is for that warm feeling you get when you win something.
