How I got started
I began racing cross country in 1997 to make friends. I took 2nd in beginner, and moved up to sport. I not only made a lot of great friends, but my confidence and love of the sport grew. At that time I made the decision to have a backup plan to support my racing, so I went to college to become a dental hygienist.
My ultimate dream was to turn pro, but that had to wait. I graduated in 2003 and since then have trained harder than I ever did before.
I am racing confident and strong. I have competed in the 2004 nationals and have a series win. I will be racing Pro this season.
Goals for the Future
I will be racing as a Pro downhiller and an expert cross country racer. I will be racing for fun this year! I plan on competing in downhill mountain biking, cross country mountain biking, endurance trail running races, and moto races. I will also continue to teach womens free ride, downhill, and xc mountain bike clinics.
I hope to make my way into mountain bike and snowboard videos in the future!
