You all have seen it. We’ve had it on the show circuit since 2003. And now they’re gonna see it in the largest country on the planet.
KICKER’s nasty little 2003 Dodge Neon SRT4 becomes the “car czar” at the end of this year when KICKER distributor Alcom of Russia seizes control of the ride to parade in front of its citizens. Lev Martirosian is the founder and owner of Alcom.
Our Russian friends recently purchased the hot demo from KICKER so they could use it for their events, where in-car entertainment, or ICE in the Old World, is a popular and growing hobby. The SRT4 will soon make its way to New Jersey where a transportation company will ship it east.
“Sounds like the car is in great condition,” said Randy Davis, KICKER European Sales Manager. “We want to thank KICKER for making this work for Lev. He is really excited about it.”
“We’re stoked that the SRT4 is going to Lev so he can begin showing it in his market,” said Kevin Campbell, KICKER Global Marketing Director.
The SRT4 is legendary in KICKER circles, making countless car shows and events the last three years. Debuting at the 2003 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the original intent of the tough tuner was to showcase KICKER’s cutting-edge SS Component Speakers, which also made their first appearance at the ’03 show.
Shortly after, DaimlerChrysler announced it would be using KICKER components as original equipment in its 2004 SRT4 cars, which is basically a hopped-up version of Neon. This jackrabbit laid rubber right off the dealership lot, carrying around 230-horse, 250-lbs.-ft. of torque, turbocharged, and a 0-to-60 time in less than six seconds. With an insatiable taste for speed, the KICKER guys added a MOPAR Stage 1 Turbo Upgrade Kit on top of that. Psychotic.
Transcending SS Components, beastly 12-inch SoloX Subwoofers, unbending SX Amplifier power, video screens, performance… the SRT4 is a masterpiece, it’s fast, and now it’s Russian.
