not good!

Round 3 went pretty good, the hills were definitely a challenge & extremely dry/loose! New results on my page, check 'em out! & a big thanks to all my sponsors, EVS, Steel Mx, Damzl Fuel, SRH & Dirty Girls, you guys are awesome!

I'm a extremely pumped & ready for round 3, I can't wait! I'll be going out to Carnegie a lot more this month hopefully before October to get some more practice in on the hills! I might be riding the KX125 too, for the 125 stock class instead of my KX100! I'm stoked & I know I can keep doing good like I have done the past 2 rounds, I'm very determined!  Hopefully all goes well this month & for round 3! I'll keep you guys posted (:

Hey everyone!

I am extremely sorry I haven't updated in so long! I've been so busy though.  This years hillclimb season is going great!!  Round 1 and 2 were so much fun and went really well.  As of right now I am on a break for my season, the spring rounds ended in April and now we all have to wait until October for the fall rounds!  I am stoked and cannot wait until round 3!  So now that I have the time to update you all on how the 2009 hillclimb season and riding is going, I will (:

Okay, first we will start off with the beginning of the year before the start of the season.  So January, February and the first week of March were all practice/training months to get ready for round 1 in March.  I went out to Carnegie just about every weekend or at least every other weekend to get in as much practice in the hills as I possibly could!  Those weekends of practice went great and they really helped out!  I practiced my starts the most & then went on to all of the challenging hills to get me ready.  I was definitely pumped for the season to start.

Now I'll get you all updated on round 1.  So round 1 was a good weekend, we pulled into Carnegie around noon and unloaded everything and got everything all situated.  After all of that, my brother and I geared up and went out and practiced for a bit, we ended up running into some of our friends so we practiced with them for a while and all got ready for race day.  Saturday morning I got up early to get dressed and go pick up my wrist bands and little sticker that tells you what rider you'll be to go up the hill when it's your classes turn.  The weather wasn't all that great, it was windy and cold, but we all still managed to do good.  This year I moved up to Womens 101-125 B division now that I am 17.  So my first run didn't go as well as I would have liked it to, I took the wrong line and ended up looping half way up the hill, my second run I picked a good line and ended up doing much better! I made it over the hill with a 19 second run, which is pretty good for being on a KX100, my time was just as fast as some of the girls on 250s! So I ended up bringing home 1st place that weekend!

Round 2, so this weekend went just as good as round 1, this round I ran both womens 101-125 B & boys 125 stock B.  On Saturday I ran the womens class and ended up doing really well, even though my time was a second slower than my time at round one I still finished 1st place in my division & keeping my lead in the points series!  Sunday is when I ran the boys 125 stock and let me tell you I was very nervous!  Haha, usually I never get nervous but this time I was.  Only because I was running the second toughest hill there & being the smallest bike on that hill was very surprising to many people there!  I am like the 6th girl to ever run that hill!  It was pretty exciting!  I ended up getting 2nd place and making it more than half way up the shotgun hill (that's what that hill is called), I was a little bummed that I didn't make it over but I was still happy with how far I went. Haha..

So now I am getting ready for rounds 3 and 4!  And let me tell you, I am more pumped than ever! I am very determined to get a faster time on the sportsman hill (which is the hill I run the womens class on) and to either get further on shotgun hill or even more determined to make it over, which I really hope I do!  And I know I can, I just need to do it! So those are all the updates I have for you right now (:

Until then, stay safe, have fun & take care!

Heyy Everyone!

Alright, so I just wanted to fill you all in on how I am doing and how my training for this years hillclimb series is going!  So far 2009 seems to be a great year! I'm healthy and really focused on my training more than I have ever been, I am so stoked for this season, I can't wait to get it started! So as some of you might know I am the 2008 class champion of the girls 16 & under 51-100cc B class in the hillclimb series last year! But now that I am 17 I have to move up and race in the womens class, I have been riding pretty much every weekend out at Carnegie getting in as much practice in the hills as I can to be prepared for round 1 and the rest of the hillclimb events! I can tell this year is going to be a good year and hopefully all goes well and that I stay healthy and safe!

Also for this year I have picked up some new sponsors, Factory Backing & Damzl! I am so stoked to have them as a part of my racing support! I will do my very best to keep them proud of me and my racing just like I have done with my other 3 sponsors that have been with me the past few years! I just wanted to say thank you to my family, friends and sponsors: T.D.R, Steel Mx, EVS, Factory Backing & Damzl Fuel! Thank you guys so much for your support I appreciate it so, so much!

That's all for now! I'll keep you guys updated a lot this year! Until next time, take care & ride safe!

Hey Everyone!

Ok so now that my hillclimb series is over, I though I should fill you all in on how things ended up going for me!

So I got 2nd place at round 3, not exactly 1st place like I wanted but it's still good. I had some great runs on the hill, it was a perfect hill! My weekend at round 3 was awesome! I had a great time hanging out with all my friends and had a great time riding/racing! I was sad to see the weekend end!

I didn't get to make it to round 4 of the hillclimb series because I had to go to Oregon that weekend for my dad's demolition derby. I was so bummed that I didn't get to go race, but the good news is that I go a call from one of my close friends after that weekend and he told me that I had still gotten the overall for the points series in my class! I was definitely happy about that! Though I didn't get my number one plate that same weekend I will still be recieving soon!

So now that hillclimb season is over for me, it's time for me to start practicing all winter for the 2009 hillclimb/mx racing season! Now that I'm going to be turning 17 next month I will be racing the womens class in '09, which I'm very excited about and a bit nervous, but I am sure that I am going to do well and I cannot wait for the new season to come!

Also, big thanks to all my sponsors: Team Dirty Girls, EVS, Steel Mx! You guys are awesome!
I'm aslo looking foward to racing with my new sponsor for '09 Factory Backing!
Thank you all for supporting me in my racing!

Until then, I'll keep you all posted on how I am doing with the training!
Have fun & ride safe!

Heyy Everyone!

Wow, I didn't realize I haven't posted an update since the first round of the hillclimbs series, my bad! Well now that I finally have the time to give you all an update on how everything is going with me I'll give it to you!

Okay, first let's start out with Round 2 of the hillclimb series! It went great! It was a nice day, perfect weather and everything! I was pumped to go for my runs, I was very confident and I was sure that I was going to do good in my class! I had good starts and I rode smart, my first run I got stuck in a tough section of the hill & I wasn't able to get any good traction so I lost a good run at 285ft. My second run I got a great start and I was climbing the hill perfectly, unfortunately once I got about 20ft from being over the top I got cross-rutted and looped out at 361ft. I still ended up taking 1st place overall, which I was very stoked about and I had an awesome time hanging out with all my friends!

As of right now, I am in the lead for points in my division in the hillclimbs series- Girls 16 & under "B". There are only two more rounds of the series and I am hoping to keep my lead and take the overall! I am very determined to get the overall since this is my last year in the girls class, so hopefully all goes well & I get the overall! By the way I am in the lead with 17 points!

I haven't been able to go out to carnegie lately to practice hills since my bike is red sticker :[, but I am going to get my kx125 fixed so I can take it out there to practice on meanwhile, since my 125 is a green sticker, plus I plan on running that class in 125 stock "B" with the boys the last two rounds of the series. So I haven't exactly been able to get much practice lately but I will soon!

And last but not least Round 3 of the hillclimb series- So round 3 is the weekend of October 3 & 4! I'm excited for it and I hope all goes well there!

Take care & ride safe!
