Michael started riding dirt bikes in Sept of 2006. I remember we were at his cousins house at the time, they were riding up and down the street on a Baja 50. I also remember not being happy about the idea of him trying. After constant pleas and the look from his mother did I let him try. He pulled on a helmet I made sure it fit and he was off. A few weeks later I bought him a 50cc pit bike which lead to 110cc pit bike which lead in turn to a Honda 70cc and by the following April a kx65. Now 4 bikes and 15 months later he is starting in competition running in Mama and Delmarva series events on a full race ready Monster Energy KX65. He started last week taking lesson from a local rider and went back karate to improve his conditioning. We have a lot of fun at the track, Michael rides and I keep filling up the tank. |
