What inspires you to compete?
i love the racing competition... when i was younger. Then i sold my bike when my 2nd child was born. then in 2000 bought both my son and me bikes and ever since we both been racing and traveling.
Why do you like this sport?
i 1st got into this sport from my friend who owed a 3-wheeler... he let me ride it and then i bought my 1st dirt bike at age 15yrs.. i worked all summer for that bike.. 1981 yamaha YZ125... it was fast. then i got a 1982 yamaha IT 250.. my 1st 250 dirt bike.. then a brand new 1988 Honda CR250.. that was a nice bike... i raced that for a few years then traded for a 1992 Honda CR250... that was my last bike. until 2000. then i bought a 1995 Honda CR250.. great bike.. handles great.. hell of a motor... more bark than my 2003 Honda CR250...
Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?
1st time drive to rockford, IL........... me and my son... watched the professionals race on saturday night got to meet the riders at the pit party... my son had a blast meeting some of the great riders. john dowd to name one
