How did you get started?
I got started when I first started as a track worker, then I started falling in love with racing. I started my practice on the track with a CRF230. But I needed more power so I got a Yamaha YZF250.
List your competitive highlights:
Just won the 2008 Women's championship and number 1 plate for the AV Motoplex.
What are you planning for next season?
My plans are to win the championship this year and step up to the Novice class for 2010. Not ready to step up in 2009.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Thats got to be hitting the big triple at the AV Motoplex this past month. I was not jumping it, then just told myself to go for it.

Q&A - Personal
What inspires you to compete?
Just the love of being on my bike and racing with my friends. Also prove to people who dont know that I am a deaf racer, that I can do alot of things.
Why do you compete?
I compete because I love the sport. I grew up on bikes, and watching Rick Johnson and others on TV. Motocross is demanding sport, I just love racing and having fun with friends at the track.
Some Personal Information About Me:
I am a Deaf woman, and I do my best to have people know that deaf people can do the same as everyone else. Also I am a lil bit on the heavy side due to the meds I take so I can breathe. I have Asthma.
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
Thats so funny I have a bad habit of falling over on my bike in the inside turns. I dont get hurt but i laugh at my self cuz it pays to be happy.
Music?
You might be surprised to know that i love to sing along with Garth Brooks when I have my hearing aid on. Yeah I can hear with it on but when I have my helmet on, I turn the hearing aid off and cant hear nothing.
