Overview

How I got started

I started racing in October 2001, after only riding for 3 weeks. My parent`s divorced and I needed a hobbie.. my mom, whom i have lived with since, bought me a bike (my dad never would.. cause "i am a girl") and I picked up on it quickly.. It is all history from there..

Goals for the Future

I plan to race as much locally (Nor-Cal) and Nationally (WMA, WORCS) as money and health permits.. I also would like to attend Loretta Lynn`s again..

Bio

Why do you like this sport?

I like this sport because it has kept me out of trouble and gave me a sense of responsability.. It gave me a family when I didn`t have one..

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am a very outgoing person who loves a challenge, which is why I fell in love with this sport. I graduated highschool with a gpa or 3.8. I have been working construction since I was 16, so I know what hard work is. I swam competitively for 10 years before I began riding. I know what it takes to make it in this sport, and unfortunately it is either rich parents or a will that won`t quit, and I don`t have rich parents. I love this sport more than anything and I am willing to do everything it takes to make it. At this point money is the only thing stopping me..

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I train 6-7 days a week.. I ride Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting).. I currently do 30-45 mins of cardio a day, with weights 3 times a week but at the peak of my training I plan do be doing 90 mins of cardio a day and riding 3-4 times a week and weights 3 times a week.. I am taking this year more seriously than ever because the competition is harder than ever and you have to work the hardest to be the best..

How's Life Treating You?

Life is great.. I have an awesome boyfriend who supports me a lot and a mom who would do anything for me.. Unfortunately money forced me to take a year off but now I have an awesome job and an awesome boss so I plan on being back in action in 2006.. My riding is awesome and I have been training really hard.. I am really looking forward to this year..
