My Start

How did you get started?

Dad bought me a little honda 50 3-wheeler, then I got a Yz 80. Pops decided it was time to move up to a '88 KDX 200, I raced my first Baja on that and placed 3rd. After my first top 3 Dad got me a '94 KDX 200, and with that I won the next seasons championship. I took a break from dirt for 10 years and in '06 jumped on a '99 RM 125, and started racing MX. After a season on the under powered 2-stroke a new 4-stroke was the way to go. That leads us to my new '05 CRF 250r.

List your competitive highlights:

Getting 5th in the points in my 2nd year racing motocross, and 2nd in the points in my 3rd year racing motocross.

What are you planning for next season?

Joining the Vet class. Try and hit the Racer X Vet national at Spring Creek.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

Finishing 2nd in the points in my 3rd year racing motocross.

"It's a sport of complete insanity, there's no coaches, no rulebooks, no limits beyond your imagination. A fan sees a personality and watches that personality perform. A fan sees a rider practice and understands pain. BUT a fan will never have to fly through the air pondering which bones take the least amount of time to heal, a fan won't have to choose between a broken back or two broken wrists. I've seen riders sit on their bikes, and pray for twenty minutes. I've seen kids with ADHD sit silently for hours just staring at a track. Fear? - a balancing act, between normality and idiocy, it paralizes the majority, but gives clarity to some."
