Just signed with THE BIKE LANE. I will be sporting there new kit at every race. Last year I raced for my son who is battling leukemia. This year I will still be racing to raise money for the fight against  childhood cancer. I would like to thanks everyone fro there support last year and I am really looking forward to this 2009 season.

MY name is Robert Nelson. I am 36 years old. Started Road racing in 1985 and was starting to move up in the local racing scene. In 1986  I broke my left arm and shattered the elbow in 3 pieces. That put an end to my racing dreams. In 1996 I decided to get back on a bike. So I started mountain biking. Nothing really came from it just weekend fun. In 2007 I started to get serious again. It was like something clicked and I fell in love with being on the bike again.  2008 will be my come back year. I will race all the Cranky Monkey events along with other VA,WV,PA, and NJ cross country events.
