The season is behind us and I did get a little behind postin. I ended up 7th in the CVT class. kinda heartbreakin after seeing my name 5th all year. I ended up qualifying 2nd at Loretta's and ending up with a 6th overall fo the weekend. I was pleased. That race was awesomely intense. Everyone was fighting for every point they could get. The points were close. Hats off to Tyler Turner and Lane Guy for edging me outta my spot. They worked hard and deserved it. It was neat to race against Jeremy Ledonne.A salute to that kid. Of course Caston and Hunter set a high bar, I learn alot from them..and I woulda like to have met Skvarek but I couldn't ever see him .lol. Taylor Braswell kept me looking over my shoulder some and at times making me catch up. She showed improvement this year as well but I am most impressed with her sportsmanship. She takes it to the track and then leaves it there. It was a good year, my friend ,Jesse Voiles got his feet wet this year and looked good out there. He ended up ok after his crash at Loretta's which was the best news for us. I can't wait till next yr. I hope I improve as much next year as I did this year. Just to race with this bunch of Kid's is an honor for me.
Rough weekend at Pa.I kept smoking clutch pads during all three practices. The uphill start gave me some grief. Finished 4th Sat and 12th(grrr) Sunday for 9th overall. But it didn't RAIN.... on to New York. I love that track.
2ND race on my new blue Apex at Walnut ILL.
My goal was a top 4 for the weekend. Finished 2nd in my first heat race. Next moto I was sitting third and got into a pileup. Docked me to last. I rode hard and caught up to 12th for a 9th overall for the weekend. Sweet and Sour..... on to PA>.........
