Overview

How I got started

I started out with BMX when I was 10. Did that for 10 years or so. Then went into the army. While in the service I competed in marathons. After exiting the service I started snocross racing in Alaska. Now I have several Snocross titles in the Pro stock and Pro Open classes. Tried qualifying for the Winter X games snocross event in 2002. Started Motocross in 2000. Now in my 5th year of Motocross im running in the Expert and Pro classes.

Goals for the Future

Im stepping up my training program for the winter. In 2007 I`ll be competing in 4 classes at both the local and state levels. So my fitness has to be there. I expect to finish in the top 3 in the 250 Expert and Pro Open classes. I`m confident that I can defend my Vet Expert title and win the 40+ A title. I cant wait for the season to get started!

Bio

Some Personal Information About Me:

As always I spend a lot of time helping out other riders. I get a lot of enjoyment out of helping them develop good technique and see the improvements on race day. I also like to spend time with my wife and my 3 dogs. She has always supported my racing and that means alot to me. When we have an off weekend from the races I like to get a bunch of the guys together for some trail riding. Nothing quite like riding the Alaska back country. I also enjoy playing guitar whenever I can.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Durring the off season I work on strength and cardio 6 days a week. Durring the race season I pretty much just ride. On days that I cant get to the track for whatever reason, I`ll usually do an hour or so on the stationary bike. I like to think im in pretty good shape. Have to be to compete with these kids. hahaha

Why do you compete?

Its a good release and it helps to keep me in shape. Pluss you really cant beat the motocross crowd. Great people, great times. Hey, its not called the "Human Race" for nothing.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Who sais I want to grow up? haha. too much fun being a 30 something year old kid!

How's Life Treating You?

Life is good. Good job, good health and a great wife that understands what I do, why I do it and supports me 110%. Man, it doesnt get much better than this!
