It was looking like it was going to be a muddy day for the second round of the District 6 hare scramble series. We packed up the quads and we headed out for the 2.5 hour drive.

When we arrived we where please to see that it didnt look like it rained at all on the track. It was actually alittle dusty. We arrived with about an hour to get the quads prepped and get dressed for our race. It was a pretty good turnout for the 2nd round here in PA.

Sitting on the line I was wondering how this start was going to be. I got a good spot and was waiting for the flag to drop. When the flag dropped my adrenaline was going and I didnt even realize that I was in first going into the first turn. I had finnaly done it I finnaly got the holeshot. I led the first lap but then had 2 peple in my class catch me and make the pass. I was able to get one position back and keep it for the next 6 laps.

When I got done I had my first spot on the podium. I was very excited. I cant wait for the 26th and the 3rd round at Evansville MX in PA. Check out the video on the front page of the holeshot.
http://www.loopd.com/members/parider99/blog.aspx?resourceId=e7dc5577-f6f3-49ee-bc7e-c7190c0144c5Sun, 12 Apr 2009 13:24:20 GMTMarch 2009 - New rideWell I decided that I needed a new trailer this year to get me to and from the races. ODI for the great grips that everyone is always asking me about and I have to say with over 20 years of using grips for bikes to motors these are the best hands down.

My first race s in 2 weeks at the Dutchmen in PA. I cant wait till this race and look forward to getting on the podum.

Till next time everyone have fun and keep pushing the limits.
http://www.loopd.com/members/parider99/blog.aspx?resourceId=93a67ebd-65fb-4ce7-b6b4-85272143a6b1Fri, 27 Mar 2009 18:45:40 GMT2009 Starter Evansville PAWell this season started out alittle rocky. The first race of the year was at Evansville PA for ditrict 6. This was a great event and was put together great and ran really smotthly. I got there with the Quadbuilder crew and met up with Howie from Pompton Honda in NJ. This was the first event I would be racing for team Pompton and the bike looked great with the graphics. We got to the event with little time to spare and just made sign up.

I decided to race novice and this woud turn out to be a race to remeber. When it came time to race it was apparent that the novice class was the way to go. With 46 people lineing up I knew this was going to be a blast. The race started and with mud from 6 to 12 inches deep the start was a adventure. We started off the bikes (a different thing forme) and one jump and a kick and we where off. With the start going down hill with a sharp left then back up again this is where things got interesting. With a bottle neck that was 40 deep this was the firsthurdle of the race.

After finally getting out of all the mess we where off and runing. Not getting a good start and crashing in the woods this turned out to be a good practice as I ended up in 36 place for the season opener. Not where I wanted to be but gives me something to shoot for next race. This was a great proactice race and a great way to start the season.I want to thank Pompton Honda and Evansville for a great race. Some other people I would like to thank are Scott for the great works system that I was using and EVS for the goves and gear that kept me dry.
http://www.loopd.com/members/parider99/blog.aspx?resourceId=92f4a2a0-c900-4892-8f8d-f2758d477b6eFri, 20 Feb 2009 19:36:33 GMT2009 with a bangSo 2009 is here and t is going to be a great year. I have already started training and look forward to this upcoming season and the challenges I will face. This year I am moving up to B class and plan on racing 2 different series. There will be about 20 Cross country races and 3 motocross races in total. My training is going well with cardio 3 times a week and weight training 3 with one day to rest. I have been riding as much as I can but the weather has been really bad so far.

The season is looking good and I am hoping to break into the top 5 this year in B. I know it willbe hard but I have faith and know that I can do it. I have received alot of support from some great companies for 2009 and I look forward to spreading there great names at all the events I attend and making them proud. Thanks everyone for all your support and I look forward to seeing or hearing from you in this upcomng year.
http://www.loopd.com/members/parider99/blog.aspx?resourceId=3fe29fa4-e8dd-48a3-a0f0-b1fcc33d48a3Sun, 11 Jan 2009 18:56:59 GMTEnd of 2008Well the end of the year is coming to a close. I set out to get atleast top 4 this race and the goal was met. I am feeling alot better then ussual with the race and I can see top 3 next race. The start was actually pretty good this race. My quad started and was 4th going into the fist corner (no holeshot but alot better then ussual). I kept a good pace the and only had to deal with arm put the first lap. After the first race I settled in and began passing people ion the classes ahead of me. I ended up 48th overall. The track was great almost 10 miles long with 7 miles of woods and the rest MX and natural terrain. Thanks to everyone for there support and I look forward to ending this year in the top 5 of my class.
http://www.loopd.com/members/parider99/blog.aspx?resourceId=8b9b2f1a-52fc-4c8d-8c76-4a89496f637eTue, 21 Oct 2008 12:07:06 GMTRiding today in the new GaernesWell I made it out today to our riding spot and we had a blast. Did about an hour of digging and grooming our trails then it was off to the races. I was extra excited to ride because I finnaly got to try out my new Gaerne SG10 boots. I was really impressed with them in the house but really needed to ride them to give a good opinion. The looks of the boots where top notch as was the craftsmanship. The ankle has a nice pivot system that really gives you good movement and the size was right on. The buckles where super easy to close and the top really wraps around the boot to keep stuff out. Here are some pics.

Well riding with the for over 4 hours today I have to say 5 stars to Gaerne on these boots. My feet felt great all day and the movement was superb to anything else I have ever worn. If you need some new boots you need to check them out.
http://www.loopd.com/members/parider99/blog.aspx?resourceId=169c757b-476c-4537-b354-3e4f342ebc75Sun, 21 Sep 2008 15:28:43 GMTPractice 9/7/2008Well made it out today to my cross country track in NJ. Its not a big track about 2 miles long but really works you. We worked on the track for the first 2 hours building some new terain then it was all about practice. Got my new Freestyle watch and have to say I love it (Thanks guys). It was really handy in tracking my lap times allowing me to get better every time. We shot some video and also some pictures (in the galleries) and they came out pretty good. Next race isnt until Oct 5 so I have some time to keep trainging and getting better. Also I want to thank Gaerne for the supprot and there help. I should have my new boots this week (SG-10 in white) I cant wait to try them out. I will let all of you know how they are. Thanks again.

Keith
http://www.loopd.com/members/parider99/blog.aspx?resourceId=b25dc12a-5e62-44d1-80dd-fbcc865107bcSun, 07 Sep 2008 15:21:05 GMTPractice Aug 30thWell made it out to Chatsworth NJ today for one last practice at the track. This track is actuaaly closing because of the state of NJ. It really sucks because it was the only close place to ride that had trails and tracks. We actually talked to a reporter and got in the article here http://www.pressofatlanticcity.com/183/story/243803.html. It was a fun day and it will be missed.
http://www.loopd.com/members/parider99/blog.aspx?resourceId=f17b72a6-bc63-4b6f-ac05-d00184a23d32Sun, 31 Aug 2008 07:28:39 GMTLooking forward to the last 5 races.Looking forward to the last 5 races.http://www.loopd.com/members/parider99/blog.aspx?euid=2d1b7b83-5ce4-4a5d-b261-8620f92d039eMon, 11 Aug 2008 10:55:12 GMTPractice 7/27/08
Well made it out to the track today for some more practice. The day started out great. This was going to be my second race and things where going to be different. I remembered all the things I did wrong the first time and set a goal of atleast top 5 for this race. Well I get to the line and have it in my head to have a good start its a long race. Well the flag drops and I cant get my quad to start. Everyone leaves and there I am trying to get it started. Well I finally get it going and know I have to make up some ground. With 15 people in my class I just keep everyone in sight. I start passing people and at every check point I keep a close eye on the leaders time. Started out 9 minutes back and was able to reel him in to 4 minutes. I didn't get the win but I got my goal. I took home 5 place this race (a lot better then last time) and 44 over all. Well next race is August 17th and I cant wait. Ill be training hard until then. Thanks to all my sponsors for there support (especially MotoFuel who kept me hydrated on another really hot day).

http://www.loopd.com/members/parider99/blog.aspx?resourceId=02b4f030-a9f2-4fda-8b1c-ecf1dfefb375Tue, 15 Jul 2008 04:27:58 GMTJuly 5th Practice
Well with the next race coming up the 13th I thought Id get some more practice in. The day was ok but man my temp gauge said 107 in the sun. It was pretty bad. Had everything ready for a good showing at the race. Sitting on the starting line I got something in my head that I could get the holeshot. Now I dont know what I was thinking but hey you have to try. Well was actually in second going into the first turn when someone caught my back tire and sent me rolling. I watched my whole class pass me. Here is a shot

Then I got back on finnaly got it started and ended up 8th in my class. I cant wait till the next one on July 13th. I need to get some new bars as I rode the whole race with them bent backwards but you do what you have to. Heres another shot later in the race doing alot better.

Thanks to all my sponsors also.
http://www.loopd.com/members/parider99/blog.aspx?resourceId=ecc52e21-b34c-4c80-a2ed-fbcf6ef1d9d0Mon, 30 Jun 2008 06:41:11 GMTJune 22nd Practice - tearing it up
Well me and some friends made it out to Chatsworth again today to get in one last practice before the next race. The place was great today. Alot of good people and alot of people that really pushed you. We road for about 4 hours hitting both track and trail and the conditions couldnt have been better. I got to try out my Motofuel today from my newest sponsor. The stuff is really good. With the high heat it really helped. Also got to try out my new rear shock. It really made a differance and gave me the courage to go faster through the rough sections. Also I got to test out my new Trailtech Vapor computer. Man this thing does everything. It really pushes you showing how fast your last lap was. Well thats it for now. Check out the pics and Ill keep you posted on the race.

http://www.loopd.com/members/parider99/blog.aspx?resourceId=f0a6de93-9ccb-436f-ae46-40623b9a9bd8Sun, 22 Jun 2008 16:07:45 GMTJune 14th practice
Well me and 2 buddies made it out for some practice today. We rode our local trails and pits and had a blast. The weather was alittle hot but that didnt stop us. We started out by hitting some trails then went out to a few pits in the area. We rode for about 3 hours today trying new stuff and just having fun. Was fine tuning my new suspension for the upcoming race and it really seems to be pretty good. Also today I got a new sponsor. I an now a proad team rider for XcelNutrition. I cant wait to use there product it sounds good and am I sure will help this coming race season. A big thanks goes out to them. Well enjoy the pics and video.
http://www.loopd.com/members/parider99/blog.aspx?resourceId=b82f0fe7-4232-4a2e-8de1-2376203a71a8Sat, 14 Jun 2008 15:50:27 GMTSunday June 8th
Well made it out today to help cut the trails for the AGP race series. Man 100 degree weather + no shade + hot quad isnt a good combination. We work from 9 till around 1 (while riding also) to try and get the course ready. The place is going to be great with a few really nice woods sections, a grass track and then some MX. Riding the place was great with all different kinds of terain. The race is June 29th and should have a good turn out.
http://www.loopd.com/members/parider99/blog.aspx?resourceId=d4c7ffd3-f03c-4043-9969-a87365e8a699Tue, 10 Jun 2008 07:16:29 GMT
