Trans Cal Series @ Santa Clara MX

Hi Everyone,

It has been awhile. Took longer than expected to get back at racing after my injury. Went to Santa Clara MX to compete in the Trans Cal National Series.

I did great in both my classes. The supermini class was extremely challenging with some very fast riders. I rode my Kawasaki 100 taking a third place.

I also rode my Honda 150 in the 150 open class taking second place.

I am going to try to finish the series, next race is at Club Moto and then Hollister Hills. I have never been to either track so it should be a lot of fun.

CMC vs Ukiah

I was going to Hollister, "CMC Spring Series" last weekend but my parents decided at the last minute to go to Ukiah so I could pick up my 2007 Fall Series awards. I won 1st place in 65 Novice and 85 Novice Class. We have been waiting a long time for the awards so we decided to go to Ukiah.

I must be having bad luck. In the Big Wheel Class, I crashed and broke my middle finger on my right hand. I have a full cast from my elbow to the tips of my fingers. I will be out for at least 4 weeks.

I was hoping to make the rest of the CMC Springs series but it looks like I might get lucky and make the last couple of races of the series.

Look for me, I will be back!!!

ARENACROSS - ARCO ARENA - SACRAMENTO

First time ever....racing arenacross.

My parents finally took me to arenacross at Arco Arena in Sacramento on 2-24-08.

What a blast!

Had lots of Fun!

I rode in the 85 Supermini class - I was going to ride my Honda 150 but just before the first heat I had a problem with the bike and had to switch to my Kawasaki 85. Did great - I qualified for the main. The main event I fell but was able to get going and took 13 place. My friend Mogo took 9th place - his first time too.

I also rode in the 85 12- 15 class - I missed out qualify in the heat race by one - I crashed ---- I qualified in the last chance qualifier and had to start in the second row for the main but I was able to get a good start and took 7th place.

SuperMoto is next!

CMC Golden State Series Update

Hi Everyone,

I went to the Golden State Series Rnd 3 & 4 at Argyll Park, Dixon, CA

Rnd 3 : I raced in the 85 12-13, 150 Open and the supermini class. I had the time of my life. The Argyll race track was great. I placed 7th in the supermini class which had some very fast riders in this class - I am not quite at their level of riding yet. I took 3rd in the 85 12 -13 and 1st in the 150 Open class.

Rnd 4: I raced the same classes as I did in Rnd 3. I took 3rd in the 150 Open class, My friend Mago took 2nd. I placed 2nd in the 85 12-13 class and 4th in the supermini.

My parents decided against the Kawasaki 100 and 140.

I got a new Honda 150 for Christmas.

I was surprised.

My parents are thinking I would be better off with a Kawasaki 100 instead of the new 140 that is coming out soon.

Everyone is saying that the 140 is a trail bike that the 100 would be better for MX.

Looks like I will be getting a Kawasaki 100.

Golden State Series

Looks like I will be racing the Northern California Golden State Series. First race begins Dec 9th in Hollister. My parents are not sure if I will do the complete series. I will no longer be racing in the 65 class. The Ukiah race on November 18 is my last 65 race. I am moving up and only racing in the 85 classes. I am also getting the new Kawasaki 140.

Racing Again

I started racing again this weekend. My parents decided I needed to start out slow and work my way back to where I was before I broke my ankle. I now wear the Scott Genius boot, my parents think that if I was wearing this boot I may not have broken my ankle. The boot is only made in adult sizes, so I had to get an adult size 8. The boot is great looking.

We went to Ukiah to race. I placed 2nd in the 85 Novice class and 1st in the 65 Novice.

I am hoping to get back to my top racing form quickly so I can start racing the other series soon. I am thinking about Trans-Cal, AMP and the Dodge Nationals.

My School & MX

I am in the 6th grade this year. Our school is year round. We started school on July 18th. Last year I earned straight "A"s on my report card. I am going to study hard and do my best this year as well. My school schedule makes it a little more difficult to race during the summer since I only get 5 weeks off unfortunately I was in a splint for 6 weeks!

I have not been able to start riding yet due to a minor complication with my ankle. I can't wait to get back to racing but it looks like I might have to wait a little longer. My dad says hopefully I can start out slowly this October and work my self back up to the level I was at before my accident.

I am going to play baseball this fall as well and try to build the strength back in my ankle.

Ready to Race

My leg brace is now off. I am ready to race. I am going to race at the MTA West Trans-Cal MX Nationals and the Ukiah Raceway this fall. I am probably going to race a few of the AMP races coming up as well. I am looking forward to the Dodge Nationals this October. Hope everyone is doing great and hope to see ya all soon.

Honey Lake,Washougal and the Crash

Honey Lake was the qualifier for the Loretta Lynn Regional at Washougal. I did not do as well as I would have liked but I did place well enough to qualify for Washougal. Honey Lake was rough.

Washougal was fun. The track was great. Saturday was practice, Sunday and Monday were races. I did not have a race on sunday. I learned a lot, met some new friends and some old friends here. I went fishing at the pond and saw the waterfall. I got soaked wet from my shoes to my knees - my parents were not happy about that.

On Monday was my classes 65 Mod and 85 Mod 7 -11. About 40 kids per class. They do three motos per class. I was able to complete 2 motos of the 65 class. On the second moto of the 85 class I was flying up hill hit a braking bump, went over the handle bars, the bike landed on me hard and I had to be carried off the track.

I broke my ankle in 2 places. The doctor called it an inline break which will require a cast and crutches for at least a month. I am currently in a splint, have to keep it elevated and iced. Next week I get the cast.

Ukiah Raceway Update

I went to the first two races in the series for Ukiah Raceway. I took first place at both races in the 65 Novice class. In the 85 Novice class I took a First place the first race and a second place in the second race of the series.

I am currently in the lead for both the 65 Novice and 85 Novice series however I will not be able to complete the series due to an injury.

Sac Raceway

Went to Sac raceway for Friday Night Motos. I am not going to do the Series. Track was fun. I took 4th place in the 65 Nov on April 13 - which was a practice night. On April 27th I won 3rd in the 65 Nov class. The 85 Novice class runs on the first gate with the 65 novice so I had to choose which class to race.

Glen Helen Raceway

CMC Golden State Showdown was held at Glen Helen Raceway this last weekend, the 24th & 25th of February. It was my very first time at Glen Helen. It rained a little but the weather was good for racing. I had a great time. Did not do as well as I would have liked but each moto I improved my time, skill and placing. I was slowly working my way up. I will be back................................

CMC Madera, California

I really enjoyed racing on this track. What a lot of fun and very challenging. I will definitely come back to this track for more races. I placed 4th in both the 65 Open and 65 9-11. The 85 7-11 class was a little more difficult for me but I was able to finish in 10th place. This is my last year racing in the 65 classes so I am going to concentrate on my 65 more.

My next races will be at Glen Helen on February 24th and 25th. I have never been there and I am looking forward to learning this track and improving my style, increasing my speed. Can't wait to get there!!!!

SF Supercross

This weekend is the San Francisco Supercross. I hope the weather is better than last year. We were seating in the bleachers last year and got soaked even with our rain slickers on.

CMC Golden State Series

I just moved up from beginner to Novice rider. I started racing last year in March. I am riding in the 65 9-11, 65 Open, and the 85 7-11 classes. I am chasing the fast riders trying to get faster. I am doing well in the 65 Open but having some difficulty in the 9-11 class. I am riding against some of the fastest riders around but I am catching up to them a little at a time.

In the 85 7-11 class, the first race in the series I had mechanical problems and had to pull out. The second race I took 5th place. The third race in the series I had mechanical difficulty again, my bike died on me and would not start, I finally got it started and placed 11th.

The next race in the series is at Madera Fairgrounds, I have never raced there before so I am looking forward to it. Hopefully, I will be able to do better and move up a little in the placings. Of course, I am going to push for first place.

My next race was going to be the 1st Annual 4-in-1 AMP Grand Prix at Prairie City but it was cancelled due to the weather. Look for me at either the 2007 AMP/GFI winter series or the 2007 CMC Golden State Nationals starting in January. Not sure which series as of yet, I can't do both - too many conflicts on race dates. I am also going to play baseball this spring but motorcross comes first. Arthur

Last Race in the Ukiah Series

The weather was foggy and cold at the start of the race but by the end the sun came out a little. We were just hoping that it was not going to rain. I did really well in my 65 beginners class taking first place in both motos to take first overall. I had some tough competition from Jamie Ferrari, Ethan Cox and Nick Bonelli but I was able to hold them off. My mom took a great picture of all of us after the race hopefully I can get it on the site soon.

In the 85 beginners class I did great, I took 1st in one moto and third in the other moto to take 2nd place overall. My friend Steven Elmore (he is one of the fastest riders) who usually rides in the 85 beginners class rode in the novice class and took 1st in the 1st moto but had a really bad fall in the second. I think he is o.k. but they took him to the hospital to check him out.

This is the last race of the series The awards ceremony is on December 1st however they already told me that I took the championship in the 65 beginners class and placed third overall in the series in the 85 beginners class. Steven took the championship and Zach took the reserve championship in the 85 beginners class. Nick Boneilli won the reserve championship in the 65 beginners class.

Hope to see everyone at the awards ceremony.

Ukiah Series

Sunday, Nov. 5th was the 15th race in the Ukiah Speedway Motocross series. Currently I am running in first place in the 65 beginners class and third in the 85 beginners. I did really well in both motos for the 65 beginners taking first both motos. In the 85 beginners class I placed 6th in the first moto and 4th in the second moto to place 5th overall. I have two more races to finish this series as long as it does not rain otherwise the races will be cancelled.

MTA/CMC Trans-Cal Nationals Series Finals

I did really well in the series finals at Marysville for the MTA/CMC Nationals. The first day, Saturday October 21st, I placed 1st in the 65 beginners class. I had a great start in the first moto getting the hole shot and keeping the lead. The second moto Jace got the hole shot and took the lead but I was right on his tail trying to catch up and pass. I took second in the 2nd moto to finish 1st overall.

In the 85 beginner class I did really good in the first moto. I was running in 5th place and was able to pass 2 bikes to finish 3rd. The second moto I started really good with me in about 5th place when I fell twice. I had to do a lot of fast riding pushing to the limit to pass numerous riders to finish 23rd in that moto however I took 13th place overall.

On the second day of the series finals, I was able to place 1st in the first moto of the 65 beginners class. The second moto was much more challenging I was running in second place when I fell but I was able to get up and going to finish 5th in that moto to take 2nd place overall. In the 85 beginners class I was able to do well by finishing 12th place in each moto to finish 12th overall.

Overall at the end of the series finals MTA/CMC Nationals I took first place in the 65 beginners class and 10th place in the 85 beninners class.

CMC Red Bluff

Red Bluff track was very tight and challenging. In the 65 beginners class, I took 2nd place in the first moto right behind Tyler Nelson. Tyler and I are leading the points in the Series. The second moto I took the lead with Brennin right behind and Tyler coming up fast. Tyler tried to jump past and had a bad crash but he is o.k. I ended up winning that moto and taking 1st place overall.

In the 85 beginners class I took 3rd place in the first moto and then 4th in the second to take 3rd place overall.

Ukiah MX Series

We went straight to Ukiah Speedway after the CMC Nationals on Saturday. Mom and Dad were very tired.

I raced in the 60cc beginner class winning both motos to take 1st place overall. I had a little difficulty in the 80cc beginner class. I fell down in a corner but I was able to take 5th place overall.

My next race will be at Red Bluff this weekend 10-15-06 for the CMC Nationals.

2006 Dodge Amateur Nationals

The Dodge Nationals was very exciting and challenging. I meet all the pros and the best riders in the Nation. Some of the circuit riders have not been home for 5 months. I gained valuable experience and skills at the Dodge National. I also meet new friends that I will be racing with and against in the next year. I also meet Don Rasberry of LockJaw Racing. LockJaw Racing is now one of my sponsors.
